Works so well!
Love this nail file. It leaves your nail so smooth with no rough edges like a metal file. The case to store it in is beautifully covered in cherry blossoms!

🥂 LUUUUV IT
To start off: This is not a rough product by any means. This is a smooth, glass nail file. If you're used to the "cardboard" nail files where there is a buffer and a filer and prefer something of that nature, this product is not for you.To begin I want to say I am genuinely pleased and extremely happy with this product! I bought this because I don't find myself liking the harshness of a regular, normal nail file as it actually hurts and is too rough for me. My nails are rather thin and do not need something of that nature. On top of that, they look extremely cheap to me (because they are) and I find myself throwing them away if they look too used up (personal preference).I bought this on a whim and took every review into consideration. Those that didn't like it because it didn't "do anything" and those that had thin nails themselves and couldn't justify the purchase of their product. When I recieved mine (I bought this!), I was scared and slightly skeptical and didn't use it at first. I placed the nail file in the container it comes it and left it there; the nail file DOES fit in the container if you point the tip downward. Placing the nail file upright makes it so the case will not close fully. I will also state that in my pouch and amongst all of my things, not once did the case pop open but it isn't extremely sturdy and does feel a little cheap (but I don't mind. I bought the nail file, the case was an added bonus). When I actually used the nail file today, I was impressed. I do not have to press hard to file my nail, it does not take forever to do my nails and it is not difficult to use. My nails are thin but not weak and the nail file was perfect to use. When I was done, I rinsed the file and it looked brand new! I say give this product a shot if you're the tiniest bit curious as I doubt you will be disappointed, especially with their superb service!

As cute as it is useful
The grit on this nail file is very fine, almost unnoticeable to the skin--and I love it! I have been using glass nail files for years and this is the first one that is as cute as it is useful. Even the case is well made and practical, as it does not let the file move around. Some users said this file didnt work, and I have to question if they were working on natural nails or artificial nails, as my natural nails were filed with one long light pressured stroke of the file. If used a sawing like motion (or back and forth) I would get a small amount of hanging excess nail, but that was easily removed by using the nail file in a different direction, like up and down the nail edge as opposed to across the nail edge. But this is typical of glass files and not a fault of any construction method. In fact, the Malva Belle nail file makes this happen less and the correction stroke is much faster than others that have a larger more noticeable grit.Furthermore, because the grit is so fine on this, I can be more exact in the shaping of my nail and not fear snagging an unfinished edge on clothing, hair, or other surfaces/fibers. It also makes for easy clean up. I just wipe the file with a cotton ball, or my pants if I'm feeling lazy and its clean for the next nail. When I'm done with all the nails, I'll put a drop of dish soap on it, massage the soap bubbles all over the file and rinse. Easy-peasy. Or Ill wipe the file down with a cotton ball soaked in either rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide if I have used it on toe nails, and want to disinfect it.Over all this is my favorite glass nail file out of all the ones I have owned.

A Better Alternative; Would Recommend
I bought this nail file because it was frequently showcased in “Amazon Best Buys” videos I had been watching during quarantine. I figured I’d try it as way to combat my bad habit of biting my fingernails (easier to make a new habit than stop a bad one).My first impressions of it were that the case for the file felt cheap. It’s made of a plastic, even the shiny edge bits are plastic. Not necessarily a downside, but someone else mentioning their file broke while in the case, so I figured I should point that out. It’s so nice to look at, the aesthetic of this thing is amazing.Filing your nails with this at first feels like a weird sensation. Not a bad one, just different. After a little bit though, I quickly got used to it. Nail dust collects on it, obviously, but nothing a quick rinse in the sink can’t fix! Be wary of the point on the end of the file, it’s decently sharp. If a kid ran around with it, it could poke an eye out.Overall, I feel it’s a great alternative to a traditional nail file. Easier to clean, take care of, and supposedly better for your nails.
