Great!
Very helpful book to explain and show via pictures ('right way' and 'wrong way') social appropriate behaviors to (young) children. It covers various topics: personal space, greeting, holding a conversation, interrupting, asking for toys/initiating play, sharing and dealing with teasing, among other things. I believe this book is very useful if you have a child that struggles to cope with social interactions. Apart from having numerous examples, the book gives insight on how to practice these skills, and how to create your own social picture stories, tailored to the needs of your child. Very pleased with this book!

invaluable book for my 8 year old daughter who has Autism
My eight year old daughter has Autism Spectrum Disorder and she really enjoys looking at this book.It was recommended to me by her class helper and they use the disc version at her main stream school. It really is the best book that I have found to help teach her the best ways of interacting with others as for a lot of people with Autism social skills have to be directly taught. It is written in a very clear concise way with large clear photo's of real-life situations and simple sentences with suggestions of the wrong and right way to behave.I would also recommend this book for children with behavioural problems. We use this book all the time and will probably always be used.I strongly recommend it.It is quite expensive but well worth it.

Best book to help children with autism
Absolutely the best book we have bought so far to help our son with autism. It covers almost every situation your child can experience difficulties with. The day I received it, our son had been in trouble for hitting a child who had refused to play with him. I opened the book, and there was a social story on what to do if a child says no when you ask him to play with. Since then, we have been using it almost daily, and it has helped in a lot of thorny situations like homework time, the playground, sharing, etc.

Excellent customer service
My order did not arrive the first time as it probably got lost in transit but Mona (supplier) has been really helpful and sorted everything out for me. I gave her 5 stars for customer service. And the book looks great too, I can’t wait to read it with my daughter.

Hoping for more
The book is fine for primary school students. I was trying it with 12/13 year olds and it just didn't suit. Other members of my department have tried it and all given the same feedback - should have gone for the high-school version. As well as that, it's probably something we can make ourselves.

A book for every autistic child
Amazing book!Think at £30 it is incredibly expensive but was recommended to me by my sons SALT and am so impressed by the clear, concise and yet engaging way the book demonstrates appropriate behaviours!

Not as useful as I had hoped.
Was asked to buy this for my ASD children while they attended a social skills class. It wasn't much use if I'm honest, and they found the out dated photos off putting.

Disappointing
I wish I’d read more of the reviews but I purchased without doing so as it was recommended by someone. The book teaches your child to mask and seem less autistic which isn’t something i’m looking to do. The basis of the book is that neurotypical is right and Autistic is wrong. Early on it encourages autistic children to make eye contact, but I would rather my child was listening to what was being said than trying to do something that he can’t and miss what is being said. I don’t recommend
