I was worried that it wouldn’t fit, but it did, and I love it. I can keep my keyboard clean now.

I have a Think Pad issued to me by my employer and I wanted to keep it nice so when I turn it back into my employer I wont have to pay for it. This dosent quite fit, its a little small by only fractions of an inch. I tried stretching it over the keys and that didn't work very well either because when I tried to type not all the keys would depress correctly. I made it do for now and it will help to kep the keyboard clean but the sizing Is off a little.

I've used this keyboard cover for a couple of months and it has started to lift / warp from the space key to the fingerprint scanner. Will be looking to get something different.

The feel of the keys is different and takes some getting used to, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. For such an expensive laptop, I’d rather prioritize protection over a minor adjustment in typing feel.Finally, the red pointing stick under the cover remains fully functional, so its coverage doesn’t affect usability. Overall, this keyboard cover is a solid investment for protecting your ThinkPad X1 while maintaining essential functionality.
