Is soy protien isolate in luna bars still extracted using hexane, which is a known neurotoxin? if so, all claims above about nutrition are worthless!

Good question Dianne. I would have assumed that they are hexane-free since Clif is generally a responsible company. However, after searching the news and Clif's website, it looks like the soy protein isolate is extracted with hexane. However, their 100% organic bars contain organic soybeans (hexane-free) rather than the soy protein isolate. No; this is the first Luna Bar combination I actually did not like. Way too sweet and mushy
