does any one knows the exact diameter measure of the hat?

I measured it to be approximately 8" in diameter at the widest inside opening.

Yes. I have washed mine. I put it inside a pillow case and washed on gentle. Air dried. Came out fine.

Would it fit a child? Like a 6 year old?

I just ordered one for my 7 year old grandson. It was pretty tight. Certainly would not fit an adult.
