Works very well for Indian wiring also. I was tired of collisions occurring in typical wifi range extenders as they share the same radio channel thereby reducing bandwidth to half and frequent dropouts. With this I was able to add a "wired" access point to a distant part of the apartment and setup a seamless wifi handoff by adding a basic router to it

Best purchase I ever made!
Buying this made me realize how useless Wifi is. I feel bad for calling my ISP customer support and complaining about the connectivity before I started using this.It may seem a bit expensive but it's definitely worth the purchase!

Small in Form, Simple to Setup, easy to use.
This is a pretty nifty product that works well. I got decent speed in these. I did have a bit of initial startup issue, but thats because I didnt read the manual which was a mistake. After reading the manual it was quite easy to setup. Requires direct power points and not extensions. Used it to extend the network from one room to another easily while getting the high speed of the LAN connection instead of the reduced Wifi Speed. Definitely recommended. There is a long wait time to get the product shipped though, but the product came within the time frames specified during the placement of the order.

Works across rooms, with one adapter plugged into an extension board. Speeds are acceptable. Planning to buy more, but will need to put some thought into where they need to be and what types (range extender, power passthru, etc.).

Faulty unit
One of the 2 adaptors (part of the pair purchased) stopped working after couple of days; it has been used only for few hours so far. LED does not turn on upon power up and does not communicate. The seller did not respond to email and reminder.

Accessories were missing
Inside amazon package, original package of device was opened. I thought it was to put importer sticker but, when I looked inside the box it had only one ethernet cable(Cat5). It is mentioned on the box that, it comes with 2 ethernet cable. This device supports speed upto 500Mbps. But Cat5 cable supports only upto 100Mbps. So, someone has taken original ethernet cables & has kept one Cat5 cable. I reported this to Vendor but, they did not agree that box was opened before. I don't want to spend time on arguing with them.If both adapters are connected to sockets next to each other, 85Mbps original speed drops to 65Mbps.(I was using a 50feet long Cat5e cable before buying this cable & I consistently get 85Mpbs seed with that cable). If adapters are connected to next room, we get ~45Mbps speed. In my final destination which is around 40feet aerial distance(so, it can be at a max distance of ~150feet electrical wiring), I get only ~30Mpbs speed. Good wifi extender of ~2K price gives similar speed. Not worth the price. Can go for mesh network instead of this.
