Out of all the toys I’ve bought for my dog this is the one that gets the most play time and after several months it’s held up just fine against his constant chewing. The problem is that there’s a hidden cost to this toy, a chunk of your sanity. If you want to wake up, spend your day and go to sleep listening to DOOT-DOOOOOT-DoOOooOot of a loud honking rubber chicken then this is the toy for you and your dog. Sometimes my dog loses this toy under the couch and I make sure to immediately distract him with treats or something so he’ll forget it exists for a couple of days. The peace and quiet that follows can only be described as a small slice of heaven.

This toy is fun - and loud. I wanted a toy that was so loud our dog could not resist it. He likes squeaky toys, but has a history of destroying them quickly. The chicken is very durable and he just carried it around the house. The only issue is that it is so loud he doesn't squeak it inside. He only plays with it outside.My 15-month-old grandson, however, is another story. He found it irresistible anywhere and everywhere. He enjoys throwing it for their dog (a lab / German shepherd mix) to retrieve, shake, and make noise when he throws it. I'm ordering another one for him to take home. It is the first squeaky toy out of which their dog has not ripped the squeaker in a matter of minutes.

This is the best made toy I have ever owned. My dog usually rips things apart the first day. He has not been able to demolish this one.

My dog loves these squawkers, just be aware that they are very loud.

So our boxer is Obsessed with this toy. We thought the first chicken had died and bought this one so she wouldn’t be without. She plays with it all on her own, romps around and howls at it regularly. It had bright Us a bunch of laughs just watching her have so much fun. As a human it gets 4 stars somewhat unfairly bc it can startle the heck out of you and if you aren’t expecting to hear it. Otherwise, highly recommended and holds up well.

Even if this thing doesn't last long, my dog absolutely loves it. She's had it for about 30 minutes so far and we can see her chin playing it like a fiddle. It's really, really annoying, but we enjoy seeing the dog so happy

My dog loves it! It is very loud. I gave it 4 stars because I am insure how it’ll hold up. My dog keeps trying to bite its head off, lol.
