Great pens for the price!
Great pens for the price! I used to only use Faber Castell Pitt pens, then switched to the Microns which I love. Tried out these Kingart pens on a chance and I'm glad I did! They perform well - on the level of the microns. The kingart pens are numbered the same as the microns so that it is easy to make a switch.I use watercolor over the pens and they are waterproof. You must wait for them to dry first. If you are using a heavy application of pen then you should wait until it is thoroughly dry before applying any wet media. Do some trial and error for your particular needs. This goes for any type of art supply! Even the micron pens have to dry first.I have used these kingart pens daily for art journals and am still pleased at the performance. They don't smear and they draw smoothly - no skipping. I use the 005 and 01 for drawing, the 05 and 08 for writing and drawing, and the brush tip for heavier fill-in areas. All perform as expected and there is no bleed-through on the paper.At the price point and comparative performance level to the microns, I think it is a great purchase. Overall, I have usually been pleased with all Kingart products.

Great pens with various sizes
These have been reliable as I have gone though my architecture classes. the multiple sizes have been such a help I have really been able to get more out of my drafts by using the dark colors to bring out the shade and shadow. and definition of my drafts.

Good pen set
Really happy with this set. I use them to illustrate over watercolor paintings, and they work well. Great price.

Perfect quality
These are perfect for doodling or fine art. I have switched to only using these pens as the more pricy ones disappointed. These have never let me down and have lasted longer than expected. Highly recommend.

Great for the price
I bought these as my standard use pens are getting older, I have used other budget brands as well and these actually feel better. I use these for comic work and have no complaints, though I still use a premium brand for my thinnest lines or brush work, these work great for ninety percent of my line work. Can't beat the price for how well these work.
