Fastest card I own and the Nikon D600 can take advantage of its speed although not at advertised levels.
Below are some benchmarking results for the Sandisk Extreme Pro and others. Thested configurations were USB 3 card reader, in-Tablet and in-Camera.General review of SD cards and real life speed in Tablets and Cameras.I've recently purchased a new SD card for my camera, a Nikon D600, so that I can easily transfer photo's to my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet. In fact I purchased a Sandisk Extreme Pro MICRO SD card so I can just pop it out of my camera and into the tablet.Below are some tests I ran with various speed cards both in my camera and in my Tablet as well as to/from my PC with a USB 3 card reader. In ALL cases the faster cards tested faster. The most important test in my opinion was the slot to slot in camera test where I transferred 50 files totaling 1.29gb from one card to another in an attempt to see if the camera hardware could take advantage of the speed of the faster cards. In a word YES, it is significantly faster with the faster cards as seen here.In camera performance. Nikon D600, 50 raw files, 1.29gb, copy slot 1 to slot 2.Slot 1 Sandisk Extreme Plus Micro SDSlot 2, Transend Class 10 - 2:40Slot 2, Sandisk Extreme Pro - 1:37In camera performance. Nikon D600, 50 raw files, 1.29gb, copy slot 1 to slot 2. Changed to two Class 10 full size SD cardsSlot 1, Transend Class 10Slot 2 EyeFi Class 10 - 3:10So the difference between fast UHS-1 cards and what the manufacturers are selling as fast Class 10 cards is very significant, 1:37 vs 3:10!This test in my opinion confirms that the faster card is better, at least in cameras which support the UHS standard. This is a big difference in write speed which will be apparent when your buffer writes to disk. The rest of these test benchmark performance both in and out of my Note Pro Tablet. This batch of tests is from almost a year ago when I first got my tablet.I tried benchmarks on both the Note and a PC as well as copying a 1 gig file over USB3 to both a card reader and the Note. As you can see it's slow and a cheap class 6 or 10 card should be more than enough if you talking just speed inside the Note Pro.*Sandisk 64g class 10 UHS-1 rated at 80mbs - card connected via USB3 to PC, - 93mbs read, 61mbs write 500k sequential*Sandisk 64g class 10 UHS-1 rated at 80mbs - 19.2 read and 15.2 write using AT SD default tested in the Tablet*Sandisk class 6 16g card in Note Pro. 17.4 read and 10.97 write using AT SD default tested in the Tablet*Transend WiFiSD class 10 16g card in card reader connected to Note Pro. 18.14 read and 15.28 write using AT SD default tested in the Tablet*Sandisk 64g class 10 UHS-1 rated at 80mbs - copy 1g file USB3 to card reader - 28 seconds*Sandisk 64g class 10 UHS-1 rated at 80mbs - copy 1g file to tablet (usb3 connection) - 1:28More benchmarks: I bought the 32g Sandisk Extreme Pro micro SD and a 16g EyeFi Class 10 card and just did the following benchmarks this morning,*Sandisk 32g Extreme Pro class 10 UHS-1 rated at 94mbs - card connected via USB3 to PC, - 93.14mbs read, 84.67mbs write 500k sequential*Sandisk 32g Extreme Pro class 10 UHS-1 rated at 94mbs - 21.57 read and 19.78 write using AT SD default tested in the Tablet*Eyefi Class 6 8g card in card reader connected via USB3 to PC, - 17.22mbs read, 13.47mbs write 500k*EyeFi Class 10 16g card in card reader connected via USB3 to PC, - 20.03mbs read, 19.57mbs write 500k*Transend Class 10 16g card in card reader connected via USB3 to PC, - 20.83mbs read, 17.22mbs write 500k**And, just tried, the fastest way to get pictures on your tablet is with a USB3 OTG cable and a USB card reader. I clocked the new Sandisk Extreme Pro at 33mbs read and write. In summary, in every case faster cards tested faster but they only reached their advertised speeds when performing transfers via USB 3 to a PC and in those tests the difference between the fastest UHS cards and the Class 10 cards was very significant. The same relationship held true with the in camera test with the UHS cards testing significantly faster.

One year after purchase: Love it, want another!
This 32 GB card has been all I could ever need and more for my New 3DS XL, ever since I got it one year ago, and all my games (about 60 of them) plus DLC have used less than half the card's space, and it is... what's the phrase... "way the heck more than up to the task" of anything my system has asked of it, or ever could. No problems with corruption, load times, write speed, or anything.Upon researching its 4k Random read/write and its Sequential read/write speed.. that write speed. Ohhh, baby. I'm getting this again, while I wait for my lovely new DJI Mavic to come. Not even a 60 MB/s, 4k flying video camera can push this thing to more than about 2/3 of the recording speeds it can actually do.I am extremely confident of this thing's reliability. I think the 32 GB is the best price of the lot, in terms of performance and storage space ($26-ish as of this review) but even knowing the 64 GB version costs almost twice that much, it still seems like a good buy, knowing I'm going to use it a lot.If sequential write speed isn't going to be critical, do consider that lovely red-and-white Samsung card, the Evo-something. That one made a great Raspberry Pi OS drive, for half this one's price.Still, if you want to spoil yourself rotten with performance, this is probably the nicest card I own.

FASTEST WRITE SPEED ON THE MARKET.
My dash cam works again! I've owned three dash cameras and all stopped working properly after two months. Seemed odd, until I read a comment from a user that stated most Micro SD's are not fast enough. I was using the "fast" class 10 ultra's that all the experts say works perfectly fine for this application. They don't! Pay a few dollars more for the Extreme PRO. Well worth it. The write speed is the most important aspect of a card and this, hands down beats EVERY Micro SD on the market. It' even faster than the new generation of "V" chips. My videos look better and my cameras keep working along. I put one of these in my GoPro and got much better videos and don't have to wait around for the download anymore. One other tip I heard from an expert, was to be aware of the fact that many products that use a micro SD work better with 32GB and below. I know my dash cam wouldn't even turn on with the 64GB. Just a tip.

Very misleading specifications
First off, this card is very fast. Faster than any other microSD card that I've had. But I have no idea where they are getting 95mb/s read and 90mb/s write that they are advertising. In real world use it doesn't get even remotely close to that. On an internal benchmark on my phone (Galaxy S4) I got 19mb/s read and 17mb/s write. Now this is very good, almost double what a regular class 10 microSD card did in the same benchmark. But not 95 and 90. Running it through USB to copy from a computer is a little faster, when copying a 5.7gb file through USB it stayed around 19mb/s write speed. Also worth noting, I tried benchmarking with the card formatted in both FAT32 and exFat. exFAT was about 1.5mb/s faster. Considering exFAT also eliminates file size limits, that's definitely the way to go with this card. There might be some extreme scenarios where it gets the 95 and 90 mb/s speed that they claim, but it's definitely not in any real world scenario. Just be aware of that before you set your expectations too high. That said, this is still the fastest card I've used and it will make a very noticeable improvement on copy speeds and camera performance on your phone (assuming you're saving your pictures to the card). I would still recommend this card.
