I'll be in Austria for a few months-- is this safe to use a laptop with for a few months if the voltage is nearly doubled? Would hate to fry my laptop

Look at for laptop power supply and it probably says 100 -240 volts, which means that you can safely plug it into any part outlet. Your laptop is already designed for this because they all these worldwide.

Will it work in France?

Yes it will. But it is only a plug converter. Make sure the device you plug in works with 220v. Otherwise you will ruin whatever you plugin. Computers, cellphones generally work with both currents, but hair dryers, irons, etc. do not.

Will these work in Santorini, Greece?

As noted, yes, but the first response confused all of Europe with Greece. There are parts of Europe (Italy, Switzerland, UK) where this will not work. This is the "mainstream" European plug.

Can this outlet work if I am traveling to Denmark?

I think the male part will work in Denmark's electric outlets. The female side is standard US two-prong and/or grounded two-prong. Just be sure you don't plug in a 110 volt device without a power adapter. Most computer power supplies are 110 to 240 volt, but a lot of other devices such as camera chargers and electric toothbrushes are not; you will zap them immediately with 220 volts. You should research a little more online.
