WOW - flawless....
Had a 20+ year old Bostitch finish nailer that started jamming. Tried to fix.... gave up and bought this new model.... WOW... had 100+ ft of tongue and groove on a ceiling to replace. The much smaller tip on this new nailer makes nail placement a breeze. Not one misfire, not one jam. Nail depth consistency spot on. Surprisingly light. Well worth the purchase. My only concern, my old Bostitch had a big rubber boot on the tip. Which when nailing pine trim didn't ding the wood. (made precise nail placement very difficult) I'm wondering if the newer much smaller tip will ding the soft pine trim. I'll need to run a test. May require a softer touch when nailing pine trim. What a tool....... it could have been priced $100 more and it still would have been worth it....

Great finish nailer for DIY
I will say that I have only had the nail gun about a month at this point but it has run flawlessly so far. First thing I did out of the box was run a full magazine of 2 1/2 nails through it into a stack of 2x4, it ran perfectly without a single hiccup. I then used it for putting up door trim in my house and again had no problems. I would definitely recommend this nail gun to anyone wanting to do DIY around their house or farm. I will update later after I get more time and projects put through this gun.

Decent nail gun can't complain about anything except maybe the price
I inherited about hundred pounds of FN nails and this was the only nailer that I could find that would be able to utilize them. Probably would have gotten a cheaper DA nailer if I didn't already have several hundred dollars worth of FN nails. Its a solid nailer, I haven't found anything that I could complain about except that it uses proprietary nail type and the price is a tad high.

Great finish nailer.
This is my fifth Bostitch product and by far my favorite. My first brad nailer and finish nailer have seen their better day and have now been replaced. This finish nailer has a great design, does what I ask it to do, and at a reasonable price. A perfect replacement to my 25 year old aging and dead Bostitch finish nailer.

Nice tool, so far
7 years in review....Still no complaints - still not going through a thousand nails a week but I am on my 3rd bathroom remodel. All down to the studs, all involve stud removal and repair. Again, not a pro and working solo. This tool allows me to work solo more easily, even if I go back over some of the work with convention nails. Still no jams, or any other issuesI am no a "pro" but I am a fairly experienced do it yourselfer. I have used the nailer on 3\4 red oak flooring, 2 inch nails right through the face, no problem. Poplar base board and door molding, no problem. Light, easy to use and easy to adjust. When shopping for this, I saw the flip out stud guide and thought "goofy" - wrong! It is ridiculously convenient when installing baseboard (again, not a "pro"). Further into "not a pro" territory, a couple of reviewers are giving low marks due to the nails. One because they cannot be bought locally and that would be a deal killer if I was going to run through a couple of thousand a week, but I'm not. The other guy thought the nails were of poor design or finish. That one is more troubling, but I have not had a jam or a problem with a nail not holding, yet...

Outstanding Nail Gun
I just unboxed it two days ago & only shot a dozen or so nails just to get the feel of the gun. All the features work as advertised, and it was simple to adjust the nail depth. The only minor complaint I have is that the gun was advertised to come with 3 no-mar tips, and it only had two. Other than that, this is an outstanding nail gun.

Bostitch Nailers
I have 4 other Bostitch nailers. Unfortunately they continually need work to continue using them. I bought this one because it was on sale and I didn’t have anyone to recommend a better brand. It uses the same FN nail as the original one and Bostitch has decided to discontinue making the o-ring kit and bumper that I need to fix it. It was nice and not plastic like this one. I had problems with a stapler and the repair shop took some o-rings and stretched them to get it working. I bought an o-ring kit and it is still working. The triggers on the Bostitch won’t handle 100 psi and they blow out, needing replacement that I have become good at. I gave this one a “1” since the gun comes in a case. I am hoping that since it is a Bostitch that it will work right out of the box without problems.
