I have a Mossberg 500A, will this work? I see a review about a 500 says it doesn't fit

That was actually my review, which I had forgotten I put on here. I don't think it will fit in the 500a, as far as I know the only major difference between the 500 and 500a is the trigger pull. This plug is a too wide to fit into the tube hole, a thinner wooden dowel gets the job done.

Yes, this piece is universal. Should work on all Pump guns. I've used it on a Benelli Super Nova 12ga, Mossberg 500 youth 20ga, Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga and Stevens Model 67E 12ga.
