It’s a little clunky and it makes noise but it’s a great fidget cube thing. I have to mute my zoom calls when I’m playing with it but it’s a good toy/tool to fight with when concentrating.The weight of the metal is nice.

Bought this as a gift for someone who likes fidgeting with things while on work meetings. He loved it!

The past few days I’ve been unsung this, I have dropped this twice at waist height, flung it a couple of times on my bed trying to do tricks, and a couple of times into my tablet trying to learn the tricks (thank god screen protectors exist)Pros-the gears on the thing are nice and loosen over time even more-somewhat durableCons-i don’t think it will survive another fall-a bit big for my hands-a little too heavy for my hands for prolonged fidgeting(Little nitpicks)So far a great productThis is not a quiet fidget, so if you want to fidget this in a quiet place with other people, it probably not the bestI’ll update this review in a couple of months to see how this holds up

Nice, durable, grandson liked it soo much it went home with him. 3 months later he is still playing with it

I got this one as a replacement for another I had ordered a couple years ago. (The same item listed for that one now turned out to be plastic! And another I'd tried was a little toooo heavy with sticky hinges.)This one is nice. Just the right heft and smooth, loose hinges. Very satisfying clickity-clack as you flip it forever and ever!The previous good one I had that seemed just like this one lasted a good 1.5-2 years of daily abuse before a hinge broke when I dropped it for the millionth time. For as much as I'd used it I'd call that pretty dang durable, so I'm hoping to get some good life outta this one too.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my favorite fidget toy. I've bought maybe 8 of them and this is the best. Its metallic weight and texture are pleasing to play with when I am thinking about solutions for my computer science job. It also has an attractive appearance, so it does not look like a child's toy on an adult professional's desk. Its noise is pleasant. It is durable. I suggest you try this if you realized that fidgeting helps you get through your day better.

Edited: It's a NEW version! I have the old version too.The new version is a little bit bigger, and has some more rounded edges. The additional rounded edges make the movement smoother. Arguably, the lack of them was a "bug" in the original version!Fun to use with one hand or two hands. With one hand, it's a skill to do it quickly, so it's a challenge. At my fastest, I can get it from cube-shape to cube-shape in just under 2 seconds. That took practice and thought about where the best places were to put my fingers.After using this aluminum cube, I don't see how I could tolerate a plastic one. Just get the aluminum.

Love messing with this at work to keep my hands moving. I dropped it a couple times taking it in and out of my pockets and the pins came out and are noticably weaker now.
