Does this help grass patches that are brown?

Yes I have covered mine in all mud and patches and after waiting a week+ I’m seeing good results.

Have seeded many a lawn in my 68yrs, always prepare the ground properly and use new graded top soil.....3 weeks into these seeds and nothing...

4 weeks and I have nothing aswell . I even put a little extra down as the reviews were great.... think they were duff seed or invisible grass

Does it contain fertiliser? Does it need it ?

no it doesn't contain fertiliser and no it doesnt need it, however everything grows better with fertilizer as its basically food

Which evergreen spreader setting to use to sow seeds?

Mix seed with John Innes No 3 and set spreader to 4
