Tried several brands, and these are the easiest to swallow. Somewhat smaller, more "aerodynamic" shape, and slick coating. Especially like that there are no extra vitamins / minerals (other than needed D3). While I was taking a different brand, I tested at a toxic level for Vitamin B6. I tried to find the source and was shocked that included in the small print for that brand was that extraordinary amount of Vitamin B6. I don't believe that more is more when taking supplements.

Again my fault for not reading complete description details. Petite is dosage size not pill size. Still large pill but coated makes it easier to swallow and digest.

Recently had weight loss surgery that requires me to take a MULTITUDE of various vitamins and supplements. I get blood labs taken every 3 months or so and my vitamin levels have been nearly PERFECT since adding this to my daily regimen. Easy to swallow and fits perfectly in my pill containers.

FIRST PILLS THAT GOES DOWN EASILY! I've tried the other brand labeled petite but it was round. The diameter was still too big and swallowing it was difficult. This is my now the only brand I recommend.

This calcium supplement has all the qualities my osteoporosis pharmacologist recommended and it’s affordable, even at three tablets/day. I do not need supplemental vitamin D3, but it won’t hurt me. The strength of the calcium is low enough that I can raise or lower the number I take depending on my expected food intake of calcium that day. They’re not too big and are smooth coated. BUT SWALLOW THEM FAST WITH ONE BIG GULP OF WATER OR THE COATING TURNS INTO A VERY COARSE SAND PAPER TEXTURE. If that does happen, I just chew them up and swallow them.(It tastes like lumpy chalk.)All in all, I’d buy it again.

If you can't swallow big horse sized pills, these are for you. Small and easy to swallow and digest. Very effective to keep my bones strong. There is no weird taste and it goes down easy. Good small texture.

This is the brand of calcium that my doctor recommended for osteoporosis. This size is excellent so I don’t have to keep running out to the store to replace them. They must work because I now have osteopenia. Their small size is also easy to swallow, with no side effects.

Citracal is a good source of calcium and Vitamin D, which are needed for people with osteoporosis. These tablets dissolve easily. Taking the tablets with food makes them easier on the stomach. The bottle arrived in an envelope and was bashed in on one side, but it doesn't look like any of the tablets were broken, so I didn't return it.
