A Real Bargain: I got three color cartridges for about $65.
I got my wife's Epson TR4520 after I purchased her [on Amazon] a new Epson 8500 Photo Printer with Tank Refill. That's why I ordered this large supply of ink.The new photo printer may appear expensive, but it is a genuine bargain on Amazon.My wife was printing lots of color photos. I checked my cartridge purchases on Amazon, and over two years the total was over $600. Her new machine prints fantastic extreme quality photos! The other day she mentioned that her ink levels are almost the same as when we did the first setup.Both of these are connected via WiFi and each of us can print to the other's machine.She's happy, and since I use very little color ink, it's a perfect machine for me. My ancient machine printed horrible images, and I'm donating to a local mission as normal B & W documents are superb. They even get the extra

Put it in, turn it on, and it makes color marks on the paper. Not much more to say. It works well in my printer.

It seems like other brands always require buying both black And color. Buy the best that will work and doesn’t require you buy a black one you don’t need in order to get the color cartridge that you do.

I Will Only Buy Canon Original Cartridges
Some of the other 3rd party cartridges are okay for reports and text, but Canon originals are the only cartridges I've found that consistently do NOT streak and are great for photos... and the blacks and colours are always deeper.More expensive?... yesWorth it?... absolutely

Perfect pictures start here
I have tried no-name brands in the past and it has been a waste of money. Very poor quality of photo printing. So I have a "note to self" attitude....buy only this original brand name for use in my Canon printer.
