Sengoku Basara: Samurai Legends Volume 2 (SENGOKU BASARA SAMURAI LEGENDS GN) Paperback – Illustrated, February 19, 2013

In this conclusion of this manga, only two characters die. And as cliche as it sounds, it's the supposedly 'villains', that make an untimely departure. Everyone else is all happy and ready to go duke it out again. I know times in Japan in this time period was enveloped in war but going at it all time seems a bit boring. Anyway, I was sad to see my favorite characters die but I was glad that the series had a nice finishing ending and tied up all loose ends. The art is stellar and worth purchasing just because of that but the story is great too, so it's a must buy.

The artwork for the manga is great and you won't be disappointed.The story is really good despite it deviating from the English anime and video game. This story is based off of a video game that was only released in Japan.The book's worth the price.:)Plus there's 4-5 pages of full color artwork at the front!

Se pueden leer antes los mangas Sengoku Basara Ranse Ranbu (Sengoku Basara 1 en Italia, http://www.amazon.it/Sengoku-Basara-1-Kairi-Shimotsuki/dp/886123819X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1449318345&sr=1-1&keywords=Sengoku+basara), donde se introducen los personajes y estos se encuentran por primera vez, pero no estrictamente necesario.Personalmente, prefiero al ilustrador de Sengoku Basara 2. Este volumen 2 recopila los dos últimos tomos de los cuatro en que consta la edición japonesa. La edición en inglés es chulísima. El formato es grande, tipo kanzenban y tiene al comienzo varias ilustraciones a color de las sobrecubiertas japonas y del interior de los tomos japoneses (en papel de una calidad tipo póster), por lo que no se pierde nada; más bien se gana porque estas portadas no las había visto. El manga está en blanco y negro sobre papel grisáceo. No es de la mejor calidad pero poco importa, la verdad. El dibujante es realmente bueno y la historia también. Animo a los fans de Sengoku Basara a hacerse con los dos tomos en que consta la edición inglesa.

Eine tolle Fortsetzung des Sengoku Basara-Mangas. Für alle, die den Anime kennen, es geht in diesem Manga um die 2. Staffel der Serie. Es gibt jedoch starke Unterschiede. Das einzige, was wirklich gleich ist, ist der Gegenspieler. Wer also noch mehr von Masamume, Yukimura und den anderen lesen will, kann hier auf jeden Fall zugreifen.Die Zeichnungen sehen toll aus; vorne sind sogar einige Farbzeichnungen vorhanden.Wer des Englischen mächtig ist, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen.

I just got this this today, and all I can say is WOW when I first read it!!!I already have volume 1 for Sengoku Basara Samurai Legends, and when I knew that volume 2 was getting released, I just had to get it straight away!!!!Amazon delivered this on time (with my other Shonen Jump manga) and I am very pleased with that. I love the manga itself because the story is fun to read!Overall, I am very happy with this purchase
