Newbie unboxing - Step 1 remove from box. Step 2 open front cover. Step 3 (This IS important) oh no, how do we remove the stuck prefilter grid (calling tech support). Step 4 dictated by tech support - pull down both prefilter grid top black clips and pull black grid clips forward all at the same exact time. This pulls the prefilter grid out. Step 5 remove bag around deodorizer filter. Step 6 remove bag around HEPA filter and try to remember which way it goes back in. Call back tech support to learn which way the now bagless HEPA filter goes back in the for the (unknown to us) air flow direction Answer is that air flow goes into the front and exhausts out the back top. Step 7 Learn that unit cannot be put in direct sunlight. Step 8 learn that unit has to be placed so many cm's away from walls and everything above and around. Step 9 Find a tape measure that shows cm's. Step 10 Learn that turning on the Ionizer is discouraged by most users including me. Step 11 Learn that Eco setting turns the unit off after a period of time. Step 12 Learn that auto speed button 1 is quiet, speed button 2 can be heard and speed button 3 is loud.All around where we live for the last 6 days have been high winds and burning red cedars and some burning houses in outlying communities plus smoke haze all over our part of the state. With this in mind we are running on Auto fan speed 2 and wishing we had bought this unit before the outside air smelled of smoke and turned into the color of light brown. You LA people know exactly what I'm talking about.The quality sensor works by changing the really bright blue indicator light to purple or red as it senses a change in air quality. The light can be turned off and on by holding down the ionizer button for 3 seconds on the latest version.Closely watch for price changes and available stock on the Coway Airmega 200m(w). You snooze, you lose.

This was originally recommended as a Best Buy through NY Times Wirecutter and it is worth the money. The filter replacement lights are helpful. When you replace the filters you can see it effectively working with all the dust/etc that it collects. When you cook you can see it automatically shifting into high gear to accommodate and filter the extra pollutants in the air. It’s about the height of an ottoman, but skinny. Making it easy if place in your room.I’ve had other purifiers and they’re definitely not as high quality and effective as this one.

This product is definitely worth the money. It keeps the air in my home so clean, it is truly exceeding my expectations. As the weather shifted into spring, the pollen has been a bugger but step into my home and my surfaces are pollen free and nearly dust free. I had a bit of a musty smell in one of my closets and set this up in there and within a matter of a few hours, the smell was completely gone and has stayed gone. It is easy to use, built well and makes little to no noise (except when turned to the highest setting which I only use when frying something). Being that it is pretty compact and very lightweight, It is easy to move around the house. I would definitely purchase this product again.

So far, this seems to be a quality air purifier. It performs as advertised, and I don’t have much to add about its strengths that isn’t already covered in the product listing.However, I do have one gripe: the high setting is loud—pushing around 70 decibels. For comparison, I previously used a similar Winix purifier with a turbo mode that was noticeably quieter than this unit's high setting.I think this model would really benefit from four speed settings: Low, Medium, High, and Turbo. That way, the loudest setting could be reserved for brief bursts of intense purification, not standard use.It’s a good unit overall, but the noise level on High makes it less versatile than it could be.

Super quiet most of the time except when air needs filtered due to frying or bbq. I really like this machine. Helps keep my home less dusty. I live in a windy area it seems. Highly recommend.

The best air purifier ever. I live in a small apartment and whenever I cook, the smell lingers. This air purifier completely solved that. I have one in my bedroom and main room. It’s nice to breathe clean air!

I have ordered a total of 6 for both myself and gifts. I’m a bit disappointed that they raised the price.
