The indoor, tamper resistant and weather resistant versions are the same physical size. So I'm going to post the same review for all. Photos are a mixture of the different versions and not necessarily representative of the product. See listing for actual. The slim design fits in the old, small metal boxes. Great for installing in an old house that was lacking GFCI. If feeding another outlet from the GFCI, it is a very tight fit to have 2 sets of wire in an old metal box (single size). I opted to replace the box with a new plastic one, since the garage was unfinished and easy to access. Might not be an option for everyone, so be aware when planning. At first I was a little frustrated that there is only room for a single ground wire to be connected to. Then I discovered Greenie wire nuts. Of course a pigtail works too, but takes up slightly more room and wire. While these GFCI are slim, they are still significantly larger than a standard outlet. Just what I've learned while installing these. I've only installed one weather resistant one so far (in a laundry room), but the green LED on it was far more dim than the indoor version. Seems backward, but maybe it was just a fluke. The tamper resistant versions works. When verifying with a multimeter after install, I had to insert both probes at the same time, otherwise the little flaps won't open. The price here on Amazon is significantly less than the local hardware store. Another win. So far, I'm very satisfied with these. I went ahead and put one in each outlet even in locations that I could have used a regular one fed from an upstream GFCI. Did this for extra peace of mind, and so there is never any question which outlets are protected. These come with instructions and stickers to label other outlets. That would be really handy for some situations. Personally I didn't want the look of the stickers in the house. Also, kids love stickers. The stickers might not have stayed in place. I plan to use them in the garage though. I like the clean white look, rather than the typical red and black buttons. The back of the outlet is labeled in English and Spanish. A wire strip gauge is also molded into the back. Really nice for the home handyman. One thing I really like about the weather resistant version better than the indoor is that the screws for the hot wire are black, and neutral are silver. Makes double checking your wiring easier. On the indoor ones, all screws are a brass color. Equipment Ground is green on both. I noticed that these require less bare wire than traditional outlets that you wrap the wire around the screw. This combined with the terminals being deeper into the box mean that you can usually cut off the old bent section of wire and strip a new clean section. Helps avoid breaking the wire due to bending fatigue. There's also a little brass clip thing on the front of the indoor ones that the WR don't have. It holds the bottom mounting screw in. Not sure what it is. Didn't affect my application so haven't looked it up. The load terminals are covered up with a warning label to help make sure the outlet gets installed correctly. Looks like Leviton thought of everything. Top notch quality product.
