Is this mask comfortable for side sleepers and what is the material made out of?

It is not comfortable for side sleepers at all. The advertising is complete BS. The velcro cannot be tightened and the mask glides away. Quality is terrible as well. You'd expect to see it at the Dollar store. Don't trust the "rosey" reviews and the people who adjusted their reviews after getting refunds.

How do the straps connect?

The straps are really low quality velcro that cannot be adjusted. Not great for neither back nor side sleepers. This is a really poor product.

How does the mask work for those who sleep on their stomach? Also, how well does it work for those with larger noses? Does it still fit properly?

For those who sleep on their stomach, we had a 97% satisfaction rate. In terms of the size of your nose, this will of course depend on you personally. Each person has a uniquely contoured face, nose, head, and eyes. We cannot guarantee that it will fit properly on every person because of the unique shapes of each person. I have a contoured Mask made with foam. But it's thick and HOT in the summer & my thin mask leaves bags under my eyes. How would this mask benefit me?

The mask is not too hot to wear in the summer because it is made with lightweight breathable material. It is thicker than traditional masks because it is higher quality and allows for us to have the molded contoured cups, but we have at this point never had a complaint about it being too hot to wear in summer. Fine. For napping in a seat. Not so good for use in bed.

Works fine for day time naps in a chair, so I would presume it is fine for use on a long haul flight. Not so good in bed. When sleeping on my side, as I usually do, the mask gets pushed to one or other side of my head sufficiently so that my eyelashes get caught on the edge of the mask irritating my eye and waking me. I do take a large size in hats so that might be a factor. One size fits all for eye masks may not be optimal. One work around that I have found helps is to wear a watch cap in bed, pulling it down in front so that the cap covers the top third of the mask. This helps stop the mask moving. Very overpriced for quality

The elastic strap and velcro were so bad I couldn't actually try the mask. The velcro is only about an inch long, meaning it's effectively impossible to adjust the length of the strap, and the elastic is thin and weak.
