the dealer has to be very careful as to what fits where as to the hose size. Had a hard time hooking up the smaller and as the hose is almost to big

The hose is good and the fittings work well with my sander, which is mainly what I got this for. I haven't noticed any static like I did with the previous hose, so the antistatic part seems to be working as well. On those points alone, I would probably rate this at 5 stars. However, the nylon sleeving was installed very poorly on my hose. The sleeving ends at least a foot from the end of the hose. It is held in place by heat shrink that was cut very unevenly. I expected better quality on the sleeving and will probably end up replacing it myself.

What a difference a day makes! I felt like I was being stuck by lightning when sanding. Now I can work without fear! Great hose!

I was hesitant to buy this due to it's length, for fear of loosing a lot of suction from my shop vac. Point is, it doesn't loose any suction and it now allows me to put the vac outside the room/area I'm working in.Some things that I noted:The adapters are a great touch. They were made to allow you to attach the hose to any power tool to assist with dust management. Two of the main features of these are:- By rotating the yellow collars, it allows you to open a hole in the line to reduce the amount of suction pulling from the tool. Which is great for sanding applications.- They have a two tab quick release that attaches to the hose. Making it quick for swapping between tools for dust management. Assuming you have more of Cen-Tec Systems' adapters attached to your other tools.I've even used one of the adapters on my Sebo X4's Vacuum attachments and it works. Not a 100% perfect seal, but there isn't enough of a loss of suction to be an issue, in my opinion.Overall construction of the hose is great. It doesn't feel like a thin plastic hose that you'd pick up at the box stores. I haven't heard back if it's rated for being crush resistant or proof, but I'd wager that it could withstand a couple of people walking on it before it started to crack.Only issue I'd complain about, is the price of the unit. Who doesn't want a nice piece of gear for cheaper, right?

So far I've been using this hose for a couple days and I get shocked non stop. I don't understand it seems like a very well built hose. I cam be sanding for just a couple minutes and I get shocked about once every minute.
