Finally found a way to keep the two twin mattresses from sliding apart.This converter was easy to install and appears to be well made. We have used it for only a few days but so far it has worked like a charm. I would recommend to anyone fighting with mattress separation gap to give it try.

So my husband and I made the mistake of buying a split king adjustable bed a couple years ago and while we enjoy the ability to adjust separately we hate that all other things one (or two) may do in a bed must be conducted on a twin. Its stupid. You think you are buying a king size bed but ultimately you are just sleeping alone on a twin. All the things that get lost between the beds. Our son falling into the crack when he climbs in in the middle of the night… oh I hate these beds….. UNTIL NOW! This simple inexpensive bed band-aid is just what we needed! The beds dont drift apart but because it is just a strap you still have free movement of your adjustable beds. Super easy to install, did it by myself. Its perfect.Now here’s the trick though- I saw in another review someone mentioned how uncomfortable it is because you have to put it over the sheets- yes if you stick with two twin sheets. But I bought a split king mattress sheet set ($60.98) on amazon. Slid the bed strap just under the split top in the sheet and voila- sheet over strap and successfully turned our bed into a split top king. Still a little uncomfortable cause you can feel the strap under the sheet? Not to worry- amazon also has a split top king mattress pad (about $80).So for about $175 I turned our expensive mistake into the bed we were shopping for to replace it. A nice comfy split-top king. I love our bed again!If you are missing your cuddle time do this!

Concept is okay but plastic clasp broke on initial use. Broke as I was trying to close it after tightening binder around mattress.

This was easy to install and tighten. Our guests used it for five nights, and although it appeared to have loosened some by the end they said they only saw that because they could see that the tightening straps looked a little loose when they took off the king size sheets. When they were simply using the bed it was unnoticeable. And when using the bed, they could only find the seam by specifically feeling for it. I gave it four stars for style because I felt the straps could have been more substantial and equipped with stronger buckles. I worry that, in use for a week or more, it might have had to be repeatedly retightened.

First, mine came with the buckle broken. Didn’t realize until I got the straps all the way under both HEAVY mattresses. Very hard for one person to assemble, only to find out that I couldn’t even cinch it because the clip was broken. After all that work, I decided just to try and tie it so I could see if it even worked well before trying to return it. Well, unfortunately, for me my child with the bed, so I was unable to return it. However, it did very little to keep the beds together anyway. And even with regular linen washing, which I do once a week. It is far too difficult to have to mess with on a regular basis. There’s got to be a better answer. This one just isn’t it, sadly.

We bought this to try to keep our split king mattresses together. It works way better than the last thing we purchased but I feel like the price is a little ridiculous for what the product is. It is difficult to put on at first unless you have help. With it being a split king it has to be on top of the mattresses so it is not the most comfortable. The cords are a little long making it very difficult to have it on the bed evenly as the closing pieces have to be at the bottom edge of the bed.

I had my doubts about this gap filler, but I've been happily surprised. To begin with, the packaging was exceptional. It was wrapped beautifully and looked like it was a gift. There was also a nice little bonus eye mask included in a pouch. Kudos to them for making this feel like a premium product.The instructions are easy, and it does indeed bind the two mattresses together in a way that makes them feel like one. However, I took someone else's review advice and decided to buy a comforter cover and sheets that were made for the split top king, rather than the full split which comes with two separate mattress covers. By doing this, it reinforces the feel that we aren't sleeping separately but sharing one bed. I'm very, very pleased with this item.

Thought is was going to work. Wrapped around the two mattresses with ease. tightened the straps but 3 days later the plastic buckle snapped and the beds moved apart. Can't even say there were any bed acrobatics going on before it broke, nope, just sleeping. Was very disappointed and am trying something new.
