Is there a compass and a pirate ship inside? Pictures show these items but no one has mentioned. What exactly are the 12 treasures?

The gold looking box with octopus arms is a pirate chest. I don't think there was a pirate ship. It's one of those "dig out the treasure" toys where the "treasures" are buried within some clay-like material. It comes with little tools to dig with and the treasures are plastic jewels, coins type of trinkets. I don't remember if it has a compass or not. My grandson loved it as a birthday gift, and still plays with it.
