i think i got a good deal
this tire tread seem durable. from the description it looks heavily reinforced. i think the price was really great, under 15 dollars. i think that i got a good deal on this. i have ridden my bike for 2 weeks. have had no problems at all. have accidentally ridden through smashed glass on more than 1 occasion, and i didn't suffer a intertube burst.

Surprisingly solid cruiser tires. Fit my Shift 3 stock rims and supports my 350 lb weight!
In a nutshell: Solid feel and reasonable 'out of the box' balance. Fit a heavy-duty, oversized Trek Shift 3 hybrid bike on the stock double-wall rims without a problem, and were easy to install. The good:+ Durable feel and thick 'cruiser and path' tread depth.+ Easy to install on standard 26" mountain bike rims.+ Fairly well balanced from the factory.+ The rolling resistance was entirely acceptable for a cruiser or 'all-terrain' style tire.+ Price: At the time of purchase these were very inexpensive tires compared to other brands. The bad:- Very 'heavy' tires. These are Kevlar Reinforced and designed to resist punctures. They feel the part.- Almost entirely a 'flat travel' tire, they tread does not 'surround' the carcass for leaning into turns.- Quite wide for a '26" x 2"' class rim, and may require finagling to get the brakes past the tire.

Not a 5 star but worth the money...
Have never bought tires that were packaged and folded up, only from a rack full size. But I have been out of bike world for some years. Had my reservations about buying folded tires since they sit in warehouses for how long?Unpackaged and let lay flat overnight. Put on next morning. Had a hard time getting them to sit properly in rim, ended up using a little mild soapy water to give little slip when re-airing up.Put them on the pavement for 4-mile ride and pretty smooth. Started with 45 psi in both. Ended up with 40 psi in front and 45 in rear for street riding.Anything changes will update.

So far a good tyre
I have this particular tyre rear mounted, rides well and suprisingly little resistance. Makes for a very comforatble ride as it is larger than most tyres and has good tread depth. I got this as a replacement and hopefully some puncture protection with thicker tubes, although this does add to the bikes weight, I can say with certainy that it is worth it. I have another so-called Shwinn replacement on the front, much narrower and lighter as depicted in image three above, bikes is easy to pedal now with these on and will definately be ordering more.

Good budget cruising tires.
This review is for the Pearhead Schwinn Replacement Bike Tire (26x2.12). I put them on an older Giant Sedona MTB which is mainly used for 12-20 mile rides on harder surfaces. They were fairly easy to install (with new Bell tubes also from Amazon) and so far I have been impressed. They are a little wider than the standard 26x1.95 tires they replaced but they seem to ride better. They provide excellent traction on wet tarmac surfaces and they roll well. I haven't tried them yet on extended off road tracks but they seem to preform well on hard sand. They are currently on sale for $14.39 so they are great value. I will rate them for mileage and durability when I have owned them a little longer. These appear to be a good cruising tire for amateur recreational riders like me.
