It is pretty durable. It does have some flexibility since it is a thin and lightweight sterling silver. I’d say my main complaint is that the ring doesn’t fasten at all. It is an open clamp. Think of it like this, you have a paper clip and you’re trying to twist into a circle and have the two ends of the paper clip meet …there will always be a slight opening no matter how tight you squeeze that paper clip. And if you squeeze too tightly you’ll damage the shape you made of that paper clip. So the nose ring isn’t without flaw—it has a slight opening where the two ends meet and it CAN get snagged if you’re not careful. I haven’t had it snag yet.
