Extremely sharp! They contain a blade shield. Small but very effective. Would recommend for cuts that are critical to prevent shearing.

Exactly what I need for trimming HTV close to intricate designs. Having both straight and curved blades is great. They are very sharp.

These little scissors just might be the nicest scissors of this type I’ve ever used. The tips are incredibly pointy and make it very easy to get under a single thread if you need to remove machine or embroidery stitching. The blades are sharp and cut all the way to the tip which makes clipping and notching around curves very easy and accurate in all your sewing projects. The snap on covers are perfect for protecting the tip of the scissors and also for allowing you to carry them in your purse, pocket, or fiber arts project bags without causing damage to the contents of your bag. I highly recommend these little scissors. You will not be disappointed!

Nice Sewing Scissors, Sheath could be better...
These are nice little sewing scissors with good blade fit. They work wonderfully on thread and come to a very fine point for detail snips. They are also attractive in design, including the sheath.The only possible issue is poor sheath retention. It is easy to knock the sheath off and the short length doesn't offer much overlap. While that's not a problem if they are in a sewing kit around the house, it could be an issue if you are keeping these in a pack or purse. That fine pointy tip that makes them super good for detail work also makes it easy for them to pierce or puncture various materials, including you!
