YES! if u have sensitive skin but still want strong spf this is for u
The media could not be loaded. the japanese do not play when it comes to sunscreen.some of the reviews said it leaves a more matte finish but i find that this is just a non-oily finish, and my skin still looks dewy with it on (my moisturizer is very good at making my skin dewy tho (its the naturie hatomugi gel)) I'd say its more of a satin finish. Once it dries down it doesn't feel greasy or oily at all, my skin just feels hydrated and soft to the touch. The video i included is what my skin looks like after applying this at the end of my routine, with no makeup or beauty filter.Very liquid formula, like a toner. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING IT.It definitely works, has high spf and PA++++ (which means its very water proof, friction proof, and lasts at least 16 hrs- that means u don't have to reapply throughout the day)It prevents tanning, as asian sunscreen would, and is good for sensitive skin as its unscented. Also good for children/babies (the Anessa website says that this is good for all ages)However, i would only buy this specific anessa sunscreen if:A) u have sensitive skin (esp if it reacts to fragrance) or u hate the smell of perfumes skincareB) u can't stand the feeling of heaviness/oiliness that other sunscreens leave, orC) it'll be used for kids/babiesIf none of these apply to u, the anessa sunscreen with the gold packaging will be much better. Personally, as someone who has tried both this one and the gold version of this, im going to buy the gold one when i run out of this one. It does have fragrance in it, and the finish is a tiny bit oilier (it's not bad though), but it works better.i watched a video testing different japanese sunscreens and the anessa gold came out on top, better than the pink anessa.overall, this sunscreen is a yes from me!

Worth for buying
Nice product feel smooth and thin when apply to face. Not oil and comfy.

Good for sensitive skin and great effect
Used to use their gold label but switch to this one for sensitive skin. I happen to love this. Top brand in Japan for great effectiveness.

Amazing sun milk
This is genuinely the perfect SPF. It applies and dries clear and matte, not sticky or greasy. I don't have the deepest skin tone, but I am a medium brown and it leaves NO white cast, even with the full three fingers worth of sunscreen. Only downside is the price. It only lasts 1-2 months with one application per day, so this will get pretty expensive rather quickly. I consider it worth it though.

Very nice texture. Not sticky on the skin at all

Great for sensitive skin but leaves white cast
I liked the formula, very mild, I can put it around my eyes and no burn, it’s also waterproof. The only downside is that it leaves pretty opaque white cast. I will go to the beach with a streaky white face, I don’t care, unfortunately I do not live by the beach and rarely go. I can’t wear this to the grocery store or work because the white cast is so bad, maybe if I use just a tiny bit it won’t be so obvious but then that defeats the purpose of wearing sunscreen. Definitely not fitting for those with a darker complexion.

The only sunscreen my son can use—other brands cause him to have an allergic reaction

The "HG" for Me
I first learned about this sunscreen from No BS Beauty (a no-nonsense, non-sponsored skincare enthusiast on YouTube). I was looking for something with good staying power, good filters (beyond FDA archaic limits), and no scent/fragrance for both everyday and outdoor activity sun exposure. This hits all the marks. I have maturing skin (almost 50), and use tret, so UV exposure protection is a must. I've repurchased this one throughout the year (2022). It has never failed me: long, multi-hour summer hikes, summer outdoor wedding, and now, just as an SPF make-up primer for everyday life (work, errands, etc). I would say it does leave a slight white cast on my medium-olive skin tone, but that disappears with my sheer BB cream or foundation. It leaves a not-quite matte, smooth/silky, almost powdery finish that I appreciate because, having maturing combo-skin, I cannot stand all those highly praised "dewy" sunscreens that make me look greasy moreso than "dewy." If you're seeking "dewy," this isn't it. I wouldn't say it's matte or drying either -- it just hits the sweet spot for me. I am a bit of a skincare nerd who wants to try out lots of different sunscreens, and I have no doubt there are amazing alternatives out there, but when you find something that works? At least in my case, I end the hunt and just hit re-order. Make sure you check the seller's storefront and ratings (always recommend that when purchasing J or Kbeauty skincare products from Amazon). This one is definitely worth trying and adding to your collection!
