Hi there, actually we don't recommend it, the kettle bottom is not totally flat so that not suitable for the induction burner.

Q: Will this kettle nest inside the msr 1.6 l stowaway pot?

The dia. of the kettle is 6 inches. The height at max. point is 4 1/4 inches. The way the spout is on top of the kettle makes it easy to nest inside another pot. This isa dedicated water boiler. It isn't designed to double as a food cooker. The fact that it is so light and compact and does what it does so well makes it worrh while to carry even on a trip up Half Dome. You will always have the cleanest boiling water with no food contamination.

I wish it did! But no. Not a good fit. I have both Trangia 25 and 27 and it's not a good fit for either. Wish there was a good SS kettle option!
