This sounds meter works very well and will help me record neighbour nuisance so our housing management can deal with them.The vendor needs another 5 stars for including a very small screwdriver to open the battery compartment. No one has ever done that before. The meter also comes with a soft cloth carrying case and a printed instruction booklet. Perfect!

Great handheld meter with dbA/dbC, fast/slow mode, noise measurement options. Very easy to use, accurate and excellent value for money. Measures down to 30dbA.

It's easy to use and the numbers get bigger when sound gets louder. I've no way of calibrating this so I don't know if it's consistent at measuring but it seems to do the job well enough. I used it when testing noise cancelling headphones to set a level consistent with plane cabin noise levels and also to set flat EQ on some audio gear.

I tried a few apps on my phone and quickly discovered that my pixel 6 wouldn't ever read more than 90 decibelsI used this meter with my grand piano - with the lid closed, half closed and fully open - and all the readings were in line with what I read they should be - about 80-90db closed and 90-115 with it open - playing at moderate levelsBased on that I am relatively confident this device gives credible readings and would recommend itIt also comes in a nice case which doesn't take up much room and makes it easy to store the device safelyNot surprised that it has loads of good reviews

This is a budget sound meter but does the job well enough for me, I just wanted an objective, consistent way to measure background sound levels in the garden when viewing properties (eg road noise). How absolutely accurate it is I have no way of telling but other reviews suggest it is OK. It seems robust, I would recommend taping on the foam wind noise cover because it comes off too easily.

Important to verify noise level as evidence when complaining to council, they acted on this as for years it had only been our word against there word, they were able to act with this evidence.

The media could not be loaded. Overall this is an amazing product trust me I don’t give out 4 stars easily. It only recorded above 30 which could be better but for the price you didn’t expect that. All to together it a great product. I would get if I were you.

Its junk and dangerous junk. Its completely inaccurate. It shows 33 decibels when loud television at 55 db. Sometimes the decibel reading actually goes down when the sound level goes up. Its not a decibel meter. Its just a piece of junk which shows numbers at random.dont buy this.
