Can this be in hot areas, for example can the underside of the grass be placed on something hot/ warm? Or will it melt?

I'm not sure. The underside of this product is covered in a soft material that resembles felt. I would be concerned about the fibers melting or igniting if placed on a hot surface.

How to fix it on the floor? Use the specific glue?

Why would you put it on the floor? It's not thick so you can't use that as fake grass.

Looks great

I used this in making a small display for my nephew for Christmas. It was football themed and this worked great for the turf, I was even able to paint white lines on it for a more accurate look. Was softer than I thought it would be, which is a good thing, and more enjoyable to work with.
