Got for family friend to replace 7 yr old laptop
Ordered this to replace a 7 yr old Windows 7 laptop that was at it's upgrade limit. The family friend that uses this laptop lives in the country where internet is almost non existent. Needed something that could run for a relatively long time on battery, but was still easy to use. Windows 11 image used allowed setup without a Microsoft account which was helpful for the aforementioned lack of internet. Had to adjust the settings to move the start button to the old location and had to do some training on the differences when coming from Windows 7. Overall a nice laptop with a nice track pad and screen as well as battery life. Was nice enough that I am considering ordering another one for myself.

Fast, sleek, beautiful, affrodable
After months of deliberation I selected this purchase and believe this is the best value for money I have found since! I am blown away at the specs for this laptop which fulfill all my needs at an amazing price. VERY, very happy with this purchase so far! Arrived quickly and on time. The smoke blue colour was also a bonus - beautiful!

Don't Buy
I've owned three consecutive HP laptops, but this is clearly not the same product as before.Pros: PriceCons: Poor picture quality. REALLY poor.Slow booting and operating that seems inconsistent with the specs.Filled with Bloatware (which can be removed), but with maddening popups offering every possible add-on under the sun and I was never able to stop those. For me, the final straw was my inability to download a functioning version of my University's Office 365 (which is paid for by the University so that it is available to faculty). I was able to download (despite maddening interruptions offering a "free" limited use before shelling out regular payments to Microsoft. I finally got it to download. Only used Word, but it seemed okay. BUT: After I restarted it, my access to Office 365 was blocked and I kept getting the maddening pop-up telling me that I had to pay for a subscription. I talked to my local library IT person. She couldn't fix the problem. I worked with the University IT person. We spent half and hour and (admittedly long distance over the phone), he couldn't solve the problem. Called Microsoft, and waited. And waited. And waited.I returned it and replaced it with a comparable Acer laptop. Some bloated software (which I easily removed), but none of the maddening pop-ups. And absolutely no problem downloading my University version of Office 365.
