where was this product made?

This product is made in the United States, but the coconuts are from India (primarily) and Malaysia.

Whhy can't you use charcoal made from other wood like mesquite?

This is made from coconut shells and produces a smaller (finer) powder than sources from wood. The smaller the particle, the more absorption power, so pound-for-pound coconut charcoal is better than wood charcoal.

I need to decolorize solution , Can you advise what size filter do I have to use?

I use a "slow", 6um filter paper. Found for about 13$ for 100 sheets here on Amazon. Seems to work for me as long as there is a proper seal
