Not that I'm aware of. Just connect the cables to the dead battery, wait a few seconds, and then start the car

When the green light on the jump cables is on, it indicates that they are connected properly. However, if the green light is blinking or off, it may mean that your car battery is either too low or completely dead. you can press the boost button, within 30 seconds, the green light will turn on and start your engine. If the red light turns on, it may indicate that you may have reversed the connection of the clamps. Double check the connection before attempting to start your vehicle.
