This was a great little set of cake decorations for the price. My daughter did mention that Ariel’s eye and shell colors were wrong, so I did paint them to match the original. Super easily to use. I ended up just breaking off the sticks on the sparkly seaweed and using the frosting to adhere them. I did need to hot glue the mermaids arms and body, but that helped them be sturdy and had no issues with them being transported or used. I even filled the mermaids body with hot glue and stuck in a toothpick before it dried to help keep her in place on the cake. After cleaning off the frosting I’ll be packing them away to use for a future birthday!

Great product! I used it for my daughter’s cake. Made a simple Duncan Haines cake with vanilla frosting and these toppers really enhanced the cake and made it look so beautiful! I just added the 7 candle.

This is such a versatile package. I especially like that several of the pieces are reusable. I bought a plain white cake and the end result was amazing. My daughter enjoyed playing with the mermaid figure after and I have the shells to reuse. This was a great buy and good value for money.

My bestie & I have a tradition of making my daughter’s birthday cake every year. This year she turned 7 & she asked for “an Ariel cake, like me” (her name is Ariel after the little mermaid). I got this set & it did not disappoint! We were a little confused about Ariel’s stand so we nixed it. She didn’t really fit into it & it took up too much space under her anyway. Without the stand, she looked great! We just shoved her little nub for the stand in the cake & she was fine. Not sure how the coral things were intended to go onto the cake but we just pressed them into the icing to set the scene. They didn’t stick very well until I cut them a bit to bend them into shape & fit them around each other. The balls are great, very beautiful, & the fans look nice as well with a little fixing & messing with them. Unfortunately I wound up setting them on fire when I lit the candles (our lighter was overly enthusiastic lol). All in all, I would definitely buy this again. My daughter loved her cake & kept the little starfish as toys after.

This kit made it easy to make a beautiful cake very quickly, without having to figure out all the pretty details yourself. I was in a pinch and needed to make my daughter's birthday cake at the very last minute with only a few hours to spare. Having this kit on hand helped with the finishing touches, so I only needed to focus on making the cake taste good. It turned out beautiful and worked well with her other mermaid themed decorations.

Super cute cake toppers. Got them for my daughters birthday and she wanted a mermaid theme. One piece broke (user error) so they can break easily (the seaweed pieces) but otherwise super cute and loved how it made her cake turn out! 5/5
