Does red part touch body of guitar

It would depend on how you have your Floyd Rose setup and the guitar. On my surface mount, it doesn't touch, but again, depends on your setup.

Will this work on a a telecaster type bridge?

No this will not work on a tele type bridge. This is designed for a fluid Rose floating tremolo system.

Is there a reason why the Wolfgang Standard's dont come with these Standard?

Because they are standard models.
