Herbishh Hair Color Shampoo for Gray Coverage - Enriched Formula with Conditioner - Long Lasting & DIY (DARK BROWN)

I'm trying this product for the first time and I'm impressed! It's much easier to apply than henna and leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft, especially after using the second 'B' cream. However, achieving full gray coverage required two applications to reach about 90%. I've learned that the key is to thoroughly massage the product into the hair, as instructed, rather than just applying it. During my first attempt, I saturated my entire head with formula 'A', massaged it for five minutes, and left it on for 35 minutes. The areas I massaged thoroughly showed excellent gray coverage, while the less massaged spots did not. After re-reading the instructions, I massaged for over 15 minutes and extended the processing time by an additional 30 minutes on my second try. The results were better, with heavily massaged areas showing complete coloration, though some spots at the back, which are harder to see and reach, were still missed. I plan to continue experimenting with the technique.Please remember to perform a skin test 48 hours before using the product. Our immune systems can develop allergies to previously harmless substances, potentially reacting to the hair color unexpectedly.Updates:I absolutely do not have any complaints about this product. I bought an extra 2 boxes after writing this review. However, I have to return them today due to my dermatologist's recommendation: I am tested severely allergic to "fragrance". I must remove all my beauty products that is not "fragrance-free". Very sad to say goodbye to this new product!

I purchase both brown & black. Definitely is cost effective as one bottle can last you a year depending on your hair length and coverage area. I color my grey roots every 4-6 weeks. The best thing I like about this product it does not damage your hair like other hair dye or root coverage. I was transitioning from natural black hair to dark brown to light brown, blonde highlights. I started using the dark brown to dye my roots during this transitioning because as my hair started to grow out I knew eventually the dark brown root coverage from this hair dye would be added to my bleach highlights 1-2 inches from root grow out. Dying my roots dark brown didn't not interfere nor damage my hair when bleach was added to the root dye grow out, since the chemicals of this dye is not harsh. My hair is healthy despite dying my roots closely to the scalp using a tooth brush or sallys beauty salon dye application brush with this dye mixture. Since I am dying 1 inch of new grey grow out around my face, it take me about 15-30 mins to carefully apply this shampoo dye closely to my grey roots and not bleed into my bleach blonde/dark brown blended highlights. I use my blow dyer to help the shampoo dye process faster yet no worry of damage to my hair. I wash out my hair easily again with no bleeding to my highlights and this last a good 4 weeks at best but can go 6 weeks until I need to do it again. I do recommend applying a thick Vaseline around your hair line if your using a dark shampoo dye on your roots because it does stain your skin when you dyeing the roots and want longer coverage. If not you will have dark shampoo dye for a few days depending if your wash your face & hair 1-2 times daily. Overall definitely recommend! 💯 💯👌😃 very pleased with this find! Initially found for my 60 yr old mum because she was dyeing her black hair with store bought dye and it was damaging her hair and thinning her hair from the chemicals. My mom is 💯 happy I found this shampoo dye and her hair has been healthy and getting thicker again since the dye & chemicals are not harsh!

The Dye Shampoo is fine, it's Just the color is not the Light Brown I wanted it seems to leave like a Copper Color .The product works .

Very easy to use and works exactly like promised. Long lasting and won't fade. I swim all summer with no effect.I will continue to use this product.I recommend the dispenser be stored in a plastic freezer bag because it could get small traces of color on bathroom tiles.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! don’t buy this. I should have listened to the reviews. First off the package came open and I didn’t think anything of it and I said yknow what let me not complain maybe the product is good. Well I tried it and it stained my hair BLACK. Pitch black!!! It took me years to have it a beautiful honey blonde brown and this stupid product stained my hair black and I ordered the brown!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. I had to fight tooth and nail to make Amazon refund me for this piece of trash product. Spend the money at the salon and don’t waste it on this.

Maybe I was asking too much. My greys don’t hold color well and the whites won’t hold it at all. Like 2 weeks and then they are peeking through. I was trying to just let nature take its course because it’s expensive to have your hair touched up every month. Then I saw this “shampoo” and the reviews were pretty convincing. The grey coverage was good and just touching up at home seemed relatively easy so I took the leap. I ordered the golden brown because I was hoping my greys would just look like natural highlights against my darker shade. The description says no ammonia so I was not expecting it to lighten my darker shade. It definitely did, my hair is brassy and reddish which doesn’t make sense if there’s nothing in it to lighten color. The product itself is kind of messy to apply, the pump is slippery when you push it with gloves that have product on them so your fingers slip, trying to apply the product like a shampoo instead of a dye with a brush is frustrating. If you buy this just pump it into a dish and stir then apply with a brush or like you would a hair color. I did a 48 hour skin test and I recommend you do as well. I’m giving 3 stars because it did cover my greys but I’m not happy with the color itself. Also calling it a shampoo is misleading, it’s a dye that mixes when dispensed as opposed to 1 box 1 application like a box dye.
