It’s so cute! It’s very soft. We sized up because of the reviews but now it’s a bit too big. So I personally would’ve bought the true size. My daughter loves it and will be Elmo for Halloween. She doesn’t want to take it off. The material is very plush. Of course the hands and feet are showing, but we can buy red shoes/red gloves! The head comes disconnected from the body suit, it’s a hat. I think it will be thick enough to keep her warm for Halloween.The only thing is, it seems to shed quite a lot!

My son is obsessed with Elmo. He continues to wear this costume frequently after Halloween. The color is good and it does not shed. The headpiece is a little small, but other than that, it's great!

Got this for my almost 2 year old's halloween costume. Because of other reviews we did size up. He is between 18/24month clothes currently, and we got the 3T/4T. We had to roll/cuff the pants and sleeves and safety pin in place, but the width was good. He had enough room for clothing underneath without it being baggy and the headpiece was a perfect fit.The thickness of the fabric was good for the cold halloween we had this year. There was some "fur" shedding here and there, but it was nothing crazy like others described. He wore it multiple times before trick or treating and I only ever got the occasional bit each wear.He loved getting to be Elmo & got lots of compliments.We plan to keep taking it out to let him dress up around the house for fun!

My daughter is 22months old and weighs almost 30lbs. I ordered this costume for Halloween and where I live it can be pretty cold, so I knew I wanted it big enough to be able to wear sweatpants and sweatshirt underneath. I saw that in other reviews that people said it ran small, so I ordered the medium 3T-4T. I'm so glad I ordered the bigger size because it fits my daughter perfect. In my picture, my daughter has on a sweatshirt and sweatpants underneath the costume. It's a little long but, she will have shoes on so that won't matter. The costume is one piece and the head part is another piece with velcro. The red fur does shed on everything, but that was to be expected. I am very pleased with this costume & my daughter loves it!

This costume was so cute! It was perfect for Halloween and my toddler absolutely loved it. I sized up in case it was chilly night and we needed layers (new england). Turned out to be a beautiful day and we didn't need too many layers. It did have some shedding but I felt like that was expected, nothing we couldn't handle. Overall quality was great and we were pleased with our decision to purchase this specific costume!

I’m giving this 3 stars because the Elmo hat part is very small and did not fit my “regular” sized 2 year olds head and I was not able to use it and ended up having to buy an extra Elmo hoody with Elmo’s faceThe costume itself is really cute- very fuzzy- which comes off easily. Length and body fit was good- just not the hat

I purchase this costume for my son for Halloween. There were not many available so I purchased it 3 months in advance, and it arrived much quicker than expected. I paid around $20 for it. This will be my son's second Halloween, and I'm all about making costumes for us, but I felt like for the price it would be worth it to have a fuzzy costume rather than whatever I would have rigged up. Costumes in my opinion tend to be a little pricey considering how low the quality is, especially for kids costumes these days. This seems very well made, the fabric feels very comfortable, the fur is very soft and silky. The hat/head is SO cute. My son won't quite be 2 by Halloween & wears 2T now, some 3T tops. I sized up because I'd rather it'd be too big than too small. It will definitely be long on him, but I'm happy I made this choice. I can very easily roll up the sleeves and legs, and then it will fit for quite a while after if he is still interested in wearing it. The hat fits perfectly though. I'm very excited about this purchase and cannot wait for Halloween. I think it was a great choice to spend this reasonable amount of money on his costume, and we will do homemade costumes for the adults. Now if only we could trick or treat on Sesame Street...

My toddler loves Elmo , so I ordered this as his costume for Halloween , it arrived on time. But boy I tell you I’d rather it had been late and great than here on time and be hanging on a line. The nose was practically falling off at this point and had a hole in it. The back of the eyes had holes in it. Very poor quality for $25 bucks . Breaks my heart because this was for a TODDLER. A literal baby and this is how it comes. For shame.
