What is the little middle bit made of? Is it leather?

Hi depending on which type of braces your looking for the middle cross at the back of the braces will either be metal, natural leather or Flux leather man made material hope this helps

Please tell me exactly which bracers are not leather.

Where the braces meet at the back they are joined together with a small piece of leather.

Easily adjustable, slightly abrasive

These braces are good but the material is slightly hard and abrasive. Hopefully it will soften over time. That apart they are easily adjustable and I'm very pleased.
