I found these braces to very comfortable after I had adjusted the lengths of the straps. This was easily done by lifting the bar and pulling the strap. The have a strong clamping action where they clip to the trousers.There is plenty of adjustment in the straps to get the right posion for comfort and security with plenty of stretch to allow for bending and sitting
