Insoma water timer works with 2* AA Alkaline batteries which can support the timer to run over 6 months. Please don't use recharging batteries which can't provide enough voltages to water timer to support it working, please use AA alkaline batteries only. Q: How many times watering can you do in a day?

I'm not certain, so maybe I shouldn't answer. The little guide that is with it has you set current time (clock), then the start time, then how long to be on (hours and minutes), then how often (hours and minutes). Seems easy enough. I have one watering once a day and the second watering for twenty minutes twice a day. I'm happy with it, we'll see how it holds up. I sure know the manual countdown timers are only good for a season or two.

Q: Can the sprinkler timer work without water pressure? Will it work with rain barral?

Didn't last a year

The time is easy to install, unfortunately it didn't last a year. It's stuck on the current time option. Even though I move the disk to other options, all it shows is the current time. I can't even change the time. Not durable at all.

The seals are not water tight which causes water to spray everywhere when attached to a faucet. Also does not allow hardly any water to flow through it so my garden gets only a slight dribble. Money down the drain.
