Amazing TV!
I was going to get another tv and after seeing the reviews I added £50 and got this.Blown away! The TV features the same smart remote found on their much more expensive models and comes with an additional standard remote. I was actually looking forward to the solar powered one mentioned in the specs but I'll take the two!The picture quality is perfect. Sharp and crisp. I've tried it with the Xbox One and it handles it pretty well rivals my 4k AOC gaming monitor and has extra size.Theres a wealth of modes that I'm still exploring and Samsung TV which gives you so many channels on demand it's unreal. The setup for this tv is so easy and step ny step with ambient music. It feels more like you're taking part on the intro to a videogame where you're configuring your character. The sound is awesome. It was the one of the first things i noticesd; I wondered if the music and visuals had been chosen to make it appear to be a great tv and suspected that once I watched my own material that the illusion would collapse, however it just impressed me more.Great value TV i didn't know you could get this quality for this price I was getting this tv as a stop gap and really wanted a projector but I think I'll stick with it!I've already recommended it to others, if you're buying in this price range you won't be disappointed!

lovely tv that's a little quiet
this was a downgrade in size from our 50" LG telly but an upgrade in most other respects. The sound is a little low but it's no worse than the previous one and we only replaced that because it looked too big mounted on the chimney breast. We'll say the sound is adequate and you might want to invest in a soundbar or similar to enhance movie night. Picture is great and the bevel is nice and small. The remote has divided our household as my wife doesn't like it but I do. Was a simple matter to set up an all-for-one remote for her. Connecting to the Wifi was pretty simple and definitely better than with our error prone LG TV. Everything including the apps for Netflix, Prime, etc all work flawlessly so far (bought this in November 2023 and reviewing in April 2024) so I would definitely recommend and would buy again, especially at such a low price.

Excellent picture quality, but it's not their top model for features
I bought this because the price seemed reasonable and it was slightly larger than my current TV. It's not particularly heavy, and easy enough for a single person to get out the box, assemble and lift onto wherever it is going. It comes with some plastic feet, but annoyingly I found they were too wide for my corner TV stand, so check the width before ordering. It has a VESA on the back so you can mount it onto a different stand than the feet, which is what I did. It looks smart, and the screen itself feels very high quality. The picture quality is very bright and sharp, however I find this is only for HD streams. Standard terrestrial broadcast from the aerial is extremely poor, with things like news line text often hard to read at all. The picture is muddy and fuzzy, which wasn't the case with my previous TV on the same aerial. Change to a HD channel and this is fixed instantly, but for non-HD you may be disappointed. It claims to have some kind of up-scaling, but that certainly isn't my experience. The sound seems fine, if a little quieter than my previous TV.When you turn it on, it is a bit of a faff getting it going each time It takes a while to start, and always takes you to a home screen, which from there you have to navigate around a little. After selecting what to watch, it then sometimes 30 seconds later takes you to a page about what you are watching, which you weren't particularly wanting, so you have to explicit press 'Exit' on the remote. If you press 'Return' by accident, it gets confused and takes you to the home section again. I suspect that anyone who is a bit technophobic will find this TV a little confusing. It also seems that 90% of the features require broadband, and are smart app-based, so this isn't the model if you are looking for a bog-standard TV.This is clearly one of Samsung's lower end models, and basic features I expected like being able to pause or record live TV onto an external USB drive are not supported at all. It comes with two remote controls, although this isn't entirely obvious why. As a plus, there were batteries supplied for both. That said, the picture quality is good enough to make up for its failings, so it is worth buying for that alone.
