I bought one for my 9 year old grandson & then had to get another one for my 5 year old granddaughter, they both enjoyed it so much!

We have purchased quite a few yo-yos and this one has by far been the best. It is easy to use and so far has the string has not gotten tangled up.

It comes back automatically & easily, but its very hard to throw. Maybe itll loosen up after playing with it.

My 3.5-year-old daughter was BEGGING me for a yoyo after seeing one in a book. I read on a message board that this was the best one for such a young kid because even the auto-return yoyos still need you to kindof know what you're doing.It was great when I first gave it to her. She was barely able to throw it a few inches, but it came back to her hand every time. But then she dropped it, it smacked the wood floor with a crack, and then it would only retract halfway. While throwing it experimentally a few times after this, the string got all tangled up in the axles and it wouldn't move at all.I pried open the two halves with a pair of pliers through the string hole to get it untangled and see if I could figure out a way to fix it (it was broken anyway so no big loss) but there wasn't any obvious way to open the inner part. Since it was still retracting part of the way, I just cut the string shorter, closed it with duct tape, and tied the ring on to the new end of the string. That lasted for another 5 minutes until it stopped retracting at all and was just a plastic ball on a string.Now it is a piece of trash in a landfill. My husband convinced me to try ordering one more to see if this one was just a fluke since they're so cheap, but I'm not holding my breath. She might just need to wait until she's older to enjoy yoyos.

My child has anxiety and fidgets. She struggled with an actual yoyo for years, but always wanted to use one. This has been the perfect answer, and she hasn't put it down. Has mastered tricks, brought her joy, and given her confidence since she always wanted to yoyo. I had one of these as a kid, and I'm so glad these are available again. And this is a great price! Highly recommend these. I'm ordering another one! Awesome patterns!Tip: Make a loop with the string and circle to put around the middle finger. Don't knot the loop, so the string will still fully retract.

Not heavy enough to work properly

I love flinging my yoyoballs underhand to my dog so that he nips at it and misses. It's a game we play for hours.

Unfortunately she’s broken 2 of these by slamming them down so hard but it is hilarious to watch her play w this toy!
