Very good quality
This claw machine is actually very good quality: I got this for my 10 year old daughter to play with her 8 year old cousin and it works very well. It’s super cute and has nice music that can be turned off. We ended up getting some more prizes from Amazon to make this even better. I recommend this.

Not functional
Not as functional as it’s suppose to be for the price. Got 2 and both don’t work

Great quality so far
It's only been in use a couple days but my daughter has been using it non stop. She loves her personal claw machine and she can load it with a variety of different toys or candy. I looked through so many reviews of different machines because I wanted to be sure and get one that would last a while. So far, so good

Was to easy to use for 10 year old
The machine was super easy to operate, which is good, but it was too easy. And the price was just too much. The size also was really small. It is a good machine for a 5 year old, but not for older kids. But the design was pretty cute.

A fun gift, but the presentation needs polish
My granddaughter requested this for her birthday after seeing it online. I wanted to present this as a wrapped gift at her birthday party. We received it in a brown corrugated paper box that described the contents, and sported all the Amazon shipping stickers that would have detracted from the presentation, even if giftwrapped. We were able to peel the stickers (be patient), but we also decided to remove it from the box, which allowed us to take care of the batteries and minimal assembly required. You'll need a sharp, pointy pair of scissors to cut the ties that restrain the swinging claw for shipping. Once the ears are slid into place on top of the unit, you can't place it back in the box without cutting out little "ear holes" for it, which makes wrapping a little more challenging. If I was doing it again, I'd get a large gift bag instead of trying to reuse the box. The bag has the added advantage of keeping the machine upright after you've freed the swinging claw. The unit can be operated on 5 "AA" batteries, or you can operated it on USB with the supplied cable. The instructions warn to use no more than a 2 amp charger. The USB cable is the older style (USB micro B), and only powers the unit. It does not charge the batteries. The game comes with some small soft plush items for use as prizes, as well as some fillable capsules that you can fill with treats. These are placed on the machine floor through a door in the back. I found ours was not terribly secure, so I used a piece of tape to hold it closed in transport. It does fine during play.Play is self explanatory. The child inserts a supplied plastic token in the coin slot (nickels work too), which simply falls into a space at the side of the machine (there is no "bank" or coin collection per se). They get 60 seconds to maneuver the claw over the prizes and drop them in the prize return. They have the full 60 seconds to retrieve as many items as they can before the timer runs out and the music stops. After all this, it didn't seem to hold her attention for very long, which is fine. It's something that's not a screen that she can do (and share with her little brother) on a rainy day when she has to stay inside.

perfect
I was hesitant to buy it because there were not a lot of reviews. I got it for my kids birthday party and it was a huge hit. they spent the entire night playing with it. i put 2 or 3 batteries in it and it's lasted over a week with constant use. the claw works great too. i would definitely recommend.
