For reference, I have acne-prone combination skin, and this stuff works so great for me, at an affordable price point, and you get a whopping 19oz, like wow!!Though this is recommended for dry to very dry skin, this is the only facial cleanser I have found thus far that just WORKS for me so well for my nightly routine and I never had any issues with breakouts or anything like that with this product!It foams up slightly for me...but it feels so nice on my face and my skin doesn't feel stripped of moisture after washing my face in the shower with this.Just a heads up, for those who double-cleanse, even though it says it's a foaming OIL cleanser...if you look at the ingredients list, the first ingredient is WATER: which means this isn't a PURE oil cleanser, it's a WATER-based cleanser with squalene oil IN the cleanser to help aid with moisture. Though, this is advertised as a 2-1 oil/water cleanser, so I love using this as my only cleanser at night to get rid of the gunk and dirt from the day off my face!!As a reference to that above:I have tried the double cleansing routine...for me, whenever I used a PURE oil cleanser, even the hyped up Korean ones, they broke me out SO BAD, even when I used them CORRECTLY(as in applying it on DRY skin with DRY HANDS, gently working it in for about a minute, then emulsifying it with water, and finally rinsing it off). After 1-2 uses of pure OIL cleansers, I had painful acne pop up EVERYWHERE on my face...so the double cleansing routine didn't work for me unfortunately.BUTTTT since this one isn't a PURE oil cleanser, this really works for me personally cleaning up all of the dirt, sunscreen, and ickiness of my face without stripping my skin apart...and the best part is, again, it DOESN'T break me out!!I don't wear make-up, so I'm not sure how this works with getting rid of makeup!Please give this a shot if pure oil cleansers haven't worked for you!!You can NEVER go wrong with CeraVe!! Works so good and affordable!! :)

This is not a oil cleanser for 1st cleaning when doing a double cleanse it would be your second wash or as a daily wash I use this product daily morning and night is very hydrating very moisturizing and I have oily dehydrated skin in this helps remove the excess oils from my face without stripping my face or making my face feel dry. The people that's complaining about this cause I read a lot of comments. I think you just are using it wrong from the way it sounds. this is not a oil cleanse, like canola oil or grapeseed oil not the first cleanse. This should be your second one or as a daily cleanser. It removes dirt grind oil and impurities with an ease without stripping your face will feel so hydrated after this, this is my holy Grail I'm glad I found this product.

I love this so much, I subscribed. It removes my make up and anything left on face, it also removes oil makeup from my makeup sponges. I tried everything to wash the makeup sponges and nothing worked, but this was the one to cleanse the sponge clean and clear. it is very effective and it is hydrating. i use to wash face and body all the time. And it does not cost a fortune. it's affordable. i love all other cerave products, recommend to everyone

The face wash isn’t bad; I have dry sensitive skin. My only thing is I feel like it breaks me out so I’m use it sparingly.

I love the texture of this face wash. It's so smooth and easy to apply on face. I have very sensitive and dry skin and this is the only face face wash that works well for my face. This is a great face wash if you have severely dry skin like mine so please buy because you won't be disappointed.

This stuff is ✨magic✨I have dry, pale skin. I don't wear a ton of makeup but I do wear tinted sunscreen daily.My regular cleanser just could not eat through the sunscreen and a lot of makeup remover irritate my skin.I needed something effective that would clean well and not dry out my skin.This product may be my new holy Grail. The bottle size is decent for the price and it WORKS!This is the most effective thing I've ever purchased for makeup removal. My skin is squeaky clean and moisturized. 🥰

I've tried oil cleansing my face before, and while it's helped get some really stubborn grime off my face before (I have a messy job), it's always long-term caused breakouts along my jaw and t-zone, even in dry winter time weather. This stuff combines a soft, moisturized clean with little post-cleanse grease -- keeps my skin happy and healthy. It also feels way better than their cream cleanser, which always feels like it's not actually lathering well enough.
