Pricey, but very effective. I’ve tested the accuracy of the laser, seems very accurate. I’ve used the triangulation to measure height a couple of times, again quite accurate. I love the green cross marking laser and the ability to switch quickly from the front measuring point to the rear point. It’s very customizable.

This tape measure works well. It’s easy to learn and to use. The laser measures pretty accurately when using without the tape. It was a good value compared to the price of similar multifunction measuring tapes.

REALLY PRICEY, but it sure is handy! Everyone else is right about the battery access being a real downer. . . . It sure is handy! I bought a second one for my son.

As I understand it Acegmet is a division of the very respected Milessey digital tape company and having both this and the Milessey DT20, you can see the joint heritage from this Chinese technology vendor. Honestly, my respect for both vendors has gone way up as I experience the quality and accuracy of their designs. With almost three times the reach of the DT20 laser on this unit plus a color screen, it did not take a great deal of study to become comfortable with the various operating modes. I was hesitant to splurge but for the bigger projects, the measuring accuracy plus the green marking laser seems to be among the best of this category digital tape measure. A bit of a splurge for the home shop use when the DT20 does a great job BUT I have to admit smiling every time I use this.

I bought this tape measure about a year ago. There are some aspects of it that I really like there are some aspects that could be better, and there is one part that I very much can’t deal with.Likes:it’s sturdy,the digital Ridout is clear and accurate,I very much like having the down pointing laser to show where the marking should be.Dislikes:My real gripe is that the digital readout is not particularly accurate. At first, it seemed accurate, but that accuracy has degraded overtime. They have calibration feature, but even doing that doesn’t seem to solve the problem. now I can take the same measurement two or three times and it’s not the same.Switching between metric versus imperial takes a number of button clicks, I wish that were easier.The hook on the end of the tape measure does not extend beyond the bottom of the tape measure meaning it is not easy to operate with a single hand.It’s nearly impossible to use for small measurements. Anything under an inch and a half you have to use the actual tape and that defeats the purpose of having this big giant tape measure.Because the marking line I eat, the laser is about an eighth of an inch in front of the tape measure housing. You can’t just pull the measure down and then let it collapse in until it hits the work piece edge, instead you have to carefully figure out where the laser hits on the edge of the work piece. If all you’re doing is stuff that requires eighth of an inch work that’s fine, but I do furniture making, and this is just not good.

Great item works well for measuring

If I could figure out how to use it and could get the smart app to connect it may be a good item. After contacting Amazon and spending 3 hours on YouTube videos and unable to get phone number to contact vendor, gave up and returned the product. Step by step set up to calibrate tape measure and connect to app on phone would have been helpful. I tried and searched for help. The videos I did find showed basic measuring function, but not how they got to that point of being able to do it and how to connect and use the app which was not used friendly. Back to regular tape and pencil/paper for me.😒Appears to have accurate and useful utility, of I had proper instruction on how to set up and use.Battery has to be removed from unit with screw driver to get it out to charge via USB C cable. In manual It mentioned additional 6 month warranty but no online registration or phone number to call. There was an email address.Amazon customer service said they could activate warranty registration for me.Email sent 5/31 was replied to on 6/3. That's a long time for a reply after I got so frustrated I returned it. The email contained no phone number to call customer service, and Amazon unable to give me a customer service phone number for vendor when requested on day item received.

I know there are much more expensive models out there, but I wanted to see if this would work for my needs.Reading the measurements in Inches can be a challenge at times for a Metric brain, and keeping tab on the measurements is also tricky at times when you are working on an intricate project.Having this be able to be combined with the app is a game changer.Love this tool!
