I got this coffee grinder as a gift from my son and daughter-in-law. She noticed that I struggled with my pepper grinder. She uses her TimeMore c2s for her coffee each day and it works so well for her coffee, why not for black peppercorns. So they sent one to me. Lucky me. It grinds my peppercorns so easily and smoothly. I love it. I don't have to worry about the grinder moving its settings, so I get a consistent grind. I am a happy camper.

I used to grind my coffee some years ago but got out of the habit. Now I saw this grinder and though it’s a manual grinder, it grinds beans great. Espresso, French Press, and Regular Perk machine settings will get you what you want.The adjustable settings for how you want the coarseness of your coffee is a great feature. Not much of a mess to clean up. It’s not a lot of coffee in the grinding cup, but you can grind more if you want to get that pot. I use pods and a French Press; both have their uses for me.I like the fact that this grinder is made of metal through and through. With plastic being the go-to material, this is a fantastic change of pace. Especially for the application of grinding coffee. The teeth are metal, and you get a brush to clean them out when finished. I don’t clean mine every day, the oils of the beans are a lubricant for the teeth, so only once a week or so for me.I like the black color and the handle that comes off so you can pack it away for traveling. Although I’m not sure where you would store the beans or the accessories, but if you’re a coffee aficionado like me, you’ll have a bag for all those items…It’s heavy duty and a workhorse. Dial adjustment of bean settings, easy clean up. What’s not to like?Currently priced at $79.00, but for those of us who appreciate doing our own, well worth it…

There are several versions of this grinder available, and I was not paying enough attention when I ordered mine to be mindful about ordering an option with a folding handle, which would make it far more compact for traveling.I did, however, appreciate how compact this otherwise is, and how supremely adjustable the grind coarseness is, and the fact that the grind size is consistent for each setting, so you can rely on exactly how coarse your coffee grounds will be, depending on which setting you choose.I do like that this has a chamber that can be screwed onto the bottom to hold the grounds, so you don't have to grind your beans directly into a filter or french press - you can dump them where they need to be when you're done grinding. I also like to use this chamber to carry the beans I intend to grind, if taking this somewhere overnight. I just wish that handle folded!

This is a solid, reliable coffee grinder with stainless steel burrs and multiple grind settings. It has no plastic parts in it. Like other Timemore grinders, it comes with an instruction booklet on how to adjust your grind settings, which you do by unscrewing the collection barrel at the bottom. You can fine-tune your grinds from moka pot to pour-over to cold brew with these settings. The operation is smooth, and you can grind 20 grams in about a minute with ease.And yes, it holds 20 grams of beans (4 full coffee scoops), which is enough to make a large pour-over (at least 14 ounces of delicious coffee) for one person or two smaller cups for two people. The operation is simple, and there's really no cleanup required. The barrel is free of static and easy to empty into a pour-over funnel or moka pot. The Timemore C2s does include a brush for when you want to periodically clean the gears.You can travel with this grinder. And if you're a coffee enthusiast like me, you'll want to bring it with you in your luggage and never drink hotel coffee again. For size comparison, I took a photo of it next to my beloved little Timemore Nano, which I use for travel. You can see that it's taller and it holds more coffee in the barrel, which makes it ideal for a couple to use when traveling.There's a reason why coffee aficionados (such as James Hoffmann) praise the Timemore. It's a quality product, and getting even better.This grinder would be a great addition to your home and a terrific, affordable gift for someone else. I've been converting my family into making hand ground coffee. You should, too!

This hand grinder is very nice aesthetically, but it is not practical when wanting ground coffee. It takes a lot of time to grind the coffee to your desired grit and takes and lot of work. It is hard to turn correctly and doesn't have an ergonomic feel. I like having it next to my espresso machine to look nice as a decoration, but I do not use it. I purchased an electric grinder that only takes the push for a button and time.

If you prefer a manual grind to using an electric grinder then this is certainly the grinder to use. It's extremely well made, easy to clean, and travels well.
