I just started decorating cakes recently and have really struggled to frost my cakes smoothly and evenly. I saw the Frost Form recommended on a few decorating blogs and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! With the help of this system, I was able to produce perfectly frosted cakes! The instructions were easy to follow and the additional videos and recipes on the Frost Form website were very helpful. Overall, it was easy to use and much less stressful than free-handing it. The whole system is pretty high quality, durable and easy to clean. I’d recommend the Frost Form to anyone who struggles to frost cakes by hand like me. I’ll definitely be getting the 8” version so I can make some larger cakes, too.

My first attempt and the cake turned out exactly as described. I was thrilled with the results. Hint: Read the added notes under the main directions, they really help! The ganache was too thick on the cake for me personally (used the recipe on Frost Form's website) however it tasted delicious!The cake can be a max of 6" high with the form (I thought it would be higher as the description says the form is 10"x10"x10") but my pictures are a two-layer cake and I could have added a third, so it is enough for me.I do plan on using my Frost Form again and again. Next time I will try the buttercream recipe.

I love my frost form kit. It’s so easy for beginners. I wish that Amazon carried all of the frost form supplies.

Firstly, this set doesn’t come with the liners like the original website does. The cake cutter ruins the cake which started to begin to crumble because it was a moist cake, because who wants a dry cake??!! The liner completely stuck to the cake and the cake began to crumble as soon as I was peeling back the liner after a few hours in the fridge. If the cake isn’t perfectly in the center forget having buttercream or ganache coat the cake evenly most of the product stayed at the top of the cake and didn’t trickle down as suggested on the website or their personal YouTube video. If I could give this zero stars I would. Never buying again, just going to bake cakes the old fashioned way.

The product was as shown and made of good quality plastic. Beware that is not as easy as it looks on the videos. I am by no means an amateur cook or baker. I have had 3 attempts and 3 fails. The concept is good but it is not easy to use.

Purchased this and I have yet to make it work. The instructions for the icing are very hard to understand. It seems like it takes a huge amount of real chocolate or butter to make it work.

Bought this as a random gift for my wife. Her first cake using the system turned out magnificent. She was happy and proud of the results using this system, and is probably one of the best investments I have made recently to make her happy. She made roughly two cakes per week after receiving this, and even has our adult kids asking her to provide the birthday cakes for our grand kids.

I’ve had so much fun playing with this - recently the wafers went on sale at the craft store, so I’ve really gotten to get good at using the form. Really sleek outcomes, and easy if you follow the steps and stay patient. I’m honestly not sure if I’m supposed to, but I put the whole setup through the dishwasher after I finish with it and haven’t had any issues.
