awesome to jam! best sounds in class
I tried this and the FX11 from a competitor.Despite having less features, the sound is much superior.and yes, do get some extra batteries

Great sound, great effects, not enough power for a good jamming session
I can't complain about the features of this little guy but when I turn it up a notch to the volume it shut itself off. That will really turn you off in a good jamming session. It's great if you want to practice exercises but jamming along to song a full volume it will not do it.

Amazing practice tool
The quality of this little lamp becomes apparent once you put your headphones on. Great tone control and super portable. No distortion for the most part unless you get too close to other electronics. Looks super cool. There's definitely value here however both the box and the Black Star seem to feel very cheap and chintzy. They both work great and I would highly recommend them but for the price I would expect them to be a bit more durable.
