We are using this for a baby monitor now that we have a toddler and rely less on the noise activation (which is to say she makes herself known and we hear her without it). It’s great—inexpensive, easy to use, easy to share with grandparents, and we love that it connects to our other SwitchBot products. Huge fan.

Camera works generally as advertised however even with a high speed wifi connection (tried both 5Ghz/2.4Ghz) the quality is much worse than advertised. There are portions when it is smooth but its more of a smooth single frame rather than video. Consistent video is probably around 240-480p quality.

Best security camera for your money has options for subscription but not required to use product video quality is great app could use some work but not terrible

This is an amazing product for it's price. I bought it to set up outside my door so I can know who comes by. The picture is in color and comes out super crisp and the sound from the microphone is clear. The device can pivot 360 degrees and has a fairly good range for moving up and down. I see I can add more than one camera and may purchase a few more for the perimeter of my house.It was super easy to install - I just added this device onto my Switchbot app - and I am very technologically shy. I continue to be a fan of Switchbot and its devices!

Super impressive little device that we put at our front door - pan and tilt feature is super helpful and it integrates into the app well. Throw a MicroSD in and you’ll be able to playback recordings. Overall great device.

The camera goes dark and goes offline within 15 minutes at the shortest and 2 hours at the longest after turning it on.I have tried everything I can, including firmware updates, factory resets, wifi resets, replacing cables and adapters, etc., in accordance with the troubleshooting instructions on your website, but there is no improvement at all..I have contacted SwitchBot's customer support multiple times, but I am fed up with waiting a week or so each time for a response, and the content is just a copy of the template..I am not getting anywhere at this point, so I attempted to return the product, but I live on a remote island in the US, and it would cost me over $20 to send this product back, which is ridiculous!I think it is inevitable that there will be defects in the product. However, if the support for such problems is in this state, no one will ever think of buying another product from the same company again.

As expected and reliable

Good price and with a coupon too. I really didnt need anymore cams. Glad i got it and it works exactly as it should, so far. I needed to follow the instructions when setting it up. This is not my first security cam and I noticed it operates a bit different than my others but works great and does even more so the menu is a little complex but manageable. It's a great little device for the price and will work to notify even without an SDcard in, or without paying for cloud service, but with the SD in is far better.
