shrink it down if i could.
This large but very handy and indispensable tool allows for the most delicate and specialized work. without it i'd be messy up my IC boards left and right. I would shrink it down to size if i could but , it has a large work areas that doubles up as a general work area, the help hands and LED lights are fantastic. the resolution is superb and an eye saver. Flexibility and easy of use make this a tool i can't do without for my work.

This is a wonderful scope for professional repair environments
I normally don't write reviews mainly because I just don't have the time. However I made an exception in this case. I use an Amscope Trinocular Stereo Microscope during the day in my shop but I needed something a little more portable for the house for evening "home" work. This microscope by Andonstar doesn't disappoint! This microscope comes with 3 lenses, two of which are excellent for circuit board repair (the A and L lenses) while the third D lens is more for viewing slides. The field of view is excellent too and there's more than enough working room (like 12 inches and I still have room to go higher!) to use a soldering iron or a hot air wand. The base is all metal and huge giving lots of stability. It's big but it's still light enough to easily be picked up and moved to another work station with one hand. Plus it even comes with its own custom fitted silicon soldering mat which is very nice. Also, with this scope I don't seem to have the depth perception issues that I've had with previous camera microscopes. This was an easy transition from my daily analog microscope. I'm sure the 10 inch screen helps in that matter as well however your mileage may vary. The last thing I want to mention is Andonstar's customer service, especially Tracy at Andonstar. There were a couple of pieces missing from my order so instead of returning it to Amazon which would have been an inconvenience to all, I immediately reached out to Andonstar instead. Tracy responded (on a weekend at that) within 24 hours. She acknowledged my issue, was very kind and sent me out replacements the next business day. I received my missing pieces in less than a week via DHL from China. Now that's service!Overall I'm very, very happy with this microscope and I'm even more impressed with Andonstar's customer service! Thanks again Tracy, Andonstar is lucky to have you!Oh by the way, this isn't a free product review. I paid for this bad boy myself and I don't regret it at all. I don't think you will either.

Game changer for 3d printing
This jem allows me to create a reference shot of a 3d part I’m trying to recreate, and simply trace it in CAD. I can’t describe how awesome that is to me. I wish it had a touch wider field of view (part in picture is ~35x35mm). I wish it had a ring of light around the lens as opposed to the two lights on movable arms. I wish the monitor was a bit more stable. I wish you could “hot swap” the SD card without it turning off. Lastly I wish the provided blue mat would lay flat (the anchor pads won’t slide into their holes in base). But for the money I think this is a great setup.

I have been using magnifying glasses so you can imagine how much better this is. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for one for electronics ot coins.

Very Useful on Microcontrollers
I wasn't sure when I'd get the chance to use this but I ended up having to repair a microcontroller and it certainly cut my repair time down immensely!Being able to zoom and hold the microcontroller while I worked to repair it was a godsend compared to the methods I've had to resort to before.
